He shouldn’t have.

I tied the necklace around my neck, the little diamond against my collarbones. I still wasn't over Danny stating we were dating. How could I, though? It wasn't right! He should have confirmed with me if that was all right, if there was no problem. But it is a problem. I don't have to go around faking a relationship so Louis could stop bothering me. I could fix things by myself, take care of myself.

Frowning in the mirror for a moment, I tucked a stray piece of my hair behind my ear. Tonight there was a party, hopefully I could actually have fun.

Danny:

Jade, you ready?x

Scoffing, I ignored his text and walked out the door.

Nats:

Jade, we're around the corner. Be ready

I picked up my pace, hoping I could walk all the way to the party unseen. I did not feel like being around them. More specifically, Danny, but Nats and Luke were usually with him. There was even a tree that hid me well, but nothing is ever in my favour.

Danny's car slowed down, pulling up to the curb next to me.

"Jade, why don't you answer your phone!?"

"Sorry, is there something you need?" the smile plastered on my face was sweet and innocent, nothing what I felt like inside.

"Love, get in the car now."

"Gosh, I can't get some fresh air? I heard it's quite healthy."

"Just get in the bloody car!" His voice rose even higher.

"Bollocks! Can you calm down?" I sat in the car seat and quite slammed the door. "You're acting as if you're my proper boyfriend! It's right pretend, Danny." Rolling my eyes, I slumped in the seat.

"Well you sure bicker like a proper couple," Luke chuckled from behind me as Danny started driving, his hands gripping the wheel. ‘Jesus take the wheel!’ Hah, I wanted to chuckle at my stupid conscience.

Turning around to face Luke instead, my eyebrows furrowed. "You were the only person I liked at this moment, Brooks. Now you're annoying as well."

"What did I do!?" Natalia's voice was very loud, making sure to be heard. Not like that was a problem. I'm sure the people inside their houses heard her.
