Chapter 6:  The Encounter

At the moment Kai saw her, many emotions was baffled in him. He just can't seen to take off his eyes on her and everything happened on the past was starting to flashback on his mind. After a couple of years, he finally saw her again. He started to think that fate was trying to meet them again. 

Kris was bewildered at first but tried to look at her. "Do you know them, Jihae?" She looked at them confusedly, "Uhmmm....I'm sorry but this is the first time I've saw you guys." 

Her statement made the three guys gasped. "You don't remember us?" Chanyeol asked her but the girl shooked her head. Sehun looked at her. "How come? We've been classmates since high school years." 

"I've been in an accident before I left here in Korea. I had an amnesia." she explained. "So, I went to New York with my family and forget all the memories I had here." Kai was frozen in his place trying to absorb of what she said. 

"If you guys were my close friends I'm really sorry if I couldn't remember any of you." she bowed politely. He felt his chest tightened, she couldn't recognised him. But for Kai, he remembered all the details about her. Those long silky hair and her beautiful eyes. Even his heart recognised her. 

"There's no need to apologize. It's not your fault at all." Chanyeol smiled at her. "But I'm glad to see you again. It's been awhile, Jihae." 

"And we've missed you so much, Noona." Sehun smiled at her. "It would be greet if we introduce ourselves. I'm Oh Sehun." Jihae offered her hand and he gladly accept it as well as Chanyeol. 

"I'm Park Chanyeol. I hope you could remember us soon." Jihae nodded as she turned her gazed to the guy who besides Chanyeol.

Kai was snapped out from his thoughts as Chanyeol nudged him. He looked up and at the moment their eyes met, he sure that his heart skip beat. "And you are?" 

He cleared his throat. "Uh...I'm Kim Jongin." Jihae smiled at him. He felt electricity shook his body as she held his hand. It was like when they've first met  few years ago. 

Jihae nodded. "Nice to meet you, Jongin."

"It... was nice to see you again." He said despite of being nervous.

Jihae looked at Kris. "It was nice to finally know your friends, Yifan."

He smiled at him.  "Ofcourse." Suddenly, someone called Jihae. "Excuse me but I have to go. The director called me."

"Come on. I'll send you there." Kris told her.

"Okay. I'll see you guys later." Jihae smiled at them and they left afterwards.

Luhan looked at his friends. "They're look good together, right?"

"Uhmmm. Yeah." Chanyeol answered hesitately. Jongin never left his gazed towards them. He doesn't know but seeing Jihae with other guy make his heart uneasy.

"I'll go get some drinks." Luhan said as he stood up and went to get their drinks. Chanyeol looked at Jongin worriedly because he didn't talk since they left.

Chanyeol patted his shoulder. "You okay dude?" he asked.

"I didn't expect to see her after how many years." Jongin said. "I should be happy but after knowing that she don't remember me at all...." He looked at his friends. "I just don't know what to feel anymore." he sighed.

His friends looked at him in sympathy. "I was shocked to know that she didn't remember us." Sehun said.

"Me too." Chanyeol agreed. "But don't you think that this is your second chance?"

Jongin looked at him confusedly. "What do you mean?"

"After a long years, why should be now? And she didn't remember us especially you."

"No offense but after what you did?" Sehun looked at the latter. "I think fate is playing with you, dude."

Regret is starting to eat him up. Cheating on her was the stupid thing he do. As he promised, when the time he finally see her he will ask for forgiveness but how will he do that? She didn't remember him. How will he act around her? Everything is complicated right now.
