It's been four days since the incident with the demon. I called Nana and told her what happened, she wanted to come up and check on me but I convinced her otherwise. Caspian did stay with me for the whole time, it was nice to have him. He wasn't afraid of me, that's what made me like him more. Wait, What? Liking someone isn't what I was taught to do, no love for people who hunt us. What if Caspian becomes a Warrior and my family hates him, I don't want to stop being his friend but I can feel that I wanted to be more. What am I thinking?
Everyone was cautious of me if I walk into the room, mostly because they think I caused the death of Logan's son. The demon spoke to me last night, telling me that it wasn't my fault. Lately him being on my side is kind of weird, he'll be the one to take my life in the end and yet he is helping me. Strange. Caspian is one of the only people who will even talk to me, he is my big bodyguard now. Some people want me gone from the school but Lora wont allow it, she wants me close to her. Something about her has changed since I came here. Ever since I did come here, something has been bothering the hell out of me. I haven't seen Nikki. Yes she's my roommate and annoys the hell out of me, she hasn't shown up at the room. I haven't heard from her either. Nowhere, not sleeping or eating, like she just vanished. I wanted to ask around but everyone would move away from me like I had a virus. So I decided to find her myself, though I don't mind the peace filled nights. She's still my roommate and she needs to get her ass back here. I went looking around the school, skipping my classes going back to my old habits. I moved through the shadows until I caught her scent, no way I could miss the smell of CoCo Chanel that girl wears the whole damn bottle. I followed it and noticed that Corax was following me, he hadn't let me out of his sight since the demon. I didn't mind, he does this anyway. He landed on my shoulder and I slowed down, softening my step. I looked around the corner and there she was but she wasn't alone. There was a guy, it was the same one from the first day I got here. They were talking to each other but what caught my attention was at the fact where I see Nikki's hand going, it was going lower and lower. I really didn't want to see where this was going so I turned around and started walking away. I walked around another corner and hit a broad chest. I looked up and my eyes widened.
"Casp...." He stopped me from talking, he covered my mouth and pulled me into the shadows. My back against his chest, his hand squeezing my face and I can feel his breath against the back of my neck.
"Don't move." He whispered holding my body still. His hands here holding me in place, I almost started to struggle if I hadn't heard voices.
"You said that the witch was here." A male voice said sounding man.
"She was, I don't know where she is." Another male said. They were looking for me but Caspian was hiding me, here I thought he was going to try to do something. They males left but Caspian still wasn't letting go, in fact he held me tighter.
"I didn't mean to scare you but I had to think quickly." He whispered into my ear, sending shivering down my spine. "Raven." Saying my name definitely made me move, my mouth was still covered by his hand. "I just wanted to say that, no matter what happens. Trust me. I will always protect you." He whispered, slowly letting me go but I didn't move. When he saw this, he gently placed his arms around my body again. This time I felt a great amount of safety in his arms. I turned my body around and placed my face on his chest.
"Why me? Why do you want to protect me so much?" I asked him, afraid of his answer. Saying something like it's only because he was ordered to.
"Because of one reason." He whispered placing his finger under my chin, lifting my head up. "Because I will always protect the things I love." He said, kissing my lips. My first kiss is with the first guy that I have ever felt anything for. This boy, protecting me, fighting for me and now wanting to love me. His lips set my whole body on fire, it must be doing the same for him because his grip around my body tightened. Things began to get rough as he lifted me up into his arms, I didn't want this to stop but of course it did. The bell ranged and that brought us out from the trance we were in. "Sorry." He said breathing heavily, still holding me.
"Don't be, I didn't stop you." I said, kissing his lips softly. He gently placed me on the ground but still held onto me. "Caspian, what did all that mean?" I asked him.
"What do you mean?" He asked me.
"I don't know what to think about all that, so tell me. What does it mean?" I asked again, he looked down with a smile.
"It means that I'm in love with you. Will you please be mine?" He asked me, I looked down blushing the deepest shade of red I've ever done.
"Yes." Was all I said, he smiled and hugged me. He checked the area before walking out of the shadows while holding my hand. It was the last hours so he walked me to class, everyone was looking but once they saw our hands, they were staring. Like the ugly girl just got the hottest guy in school kind of staring. But we ignored them, training began and I couldn't help but watch Caspian. Seeing him fight like he was protecting me, it really is a show. Fencing started off just fine, no was getting hurt or demons breaking things and causing trouble. I finally finished my class then it was Warrior Training. I was the only girl in there, Caspian stayed close to me. There are two boys that were looking at me, those might be the ones from earlier the ones looking for me. I began and started to make a foul out of a lot of these guys, dropping them to the ground and keeping them there. Even the teacher was shocked but then he understood, he was one of the people that saw what happened earlier in the week. After training we went on a run, I was laughing with Caspian when it happened.
