Chapter 9. The Search

After waking up from my dream, I prayed for strength against the forces of evil that are in this school. Nikki said that I prayed for two hours before going back to bed. After our little talk last night Nikki stayed close to me, we talked in front of everyone. She asked me some questions about magic, my dream and what was going on with Caspian. I smiled as I answered them, she was shocked about Caspian. She loved how similar HEKATE was to Nyx, she wanted to learn more about it. Then time came to the dream, I looked at her and knew I could trust her. I explained everything that happened, she was shocked and frightened. She told me that while I was having that dream, I started screaming and shaking. Speaking in an language that she didn't know, I had a feeling that it was a ancient language of the witches. That's when she woke me up, I understood now. The dream was a vision of the future if whatever darkness that is here takes the power of the moon. The moon is the power for witches and I'll never allow it to be taken from me or my family. So after taking my seat in first hour, I was thinking of any place in the school that might have a strong magical connection and that only one I could think of was Nyx's Temple. So I skipped my second hour and went there. As I got closer I could feel the spiritual power, this was a strong place. I walked in and looked around, if what the Demon said and my dream are true, I have to find something that'll help me stop whoever is trying to take over. As I looked I found a statue of Nyx, she was beautiful just like HEKATE. Maybe they are one in the same person. I looked at the candles, I took one of mine out. Purple for Spirit, I need to call out to Nyx. She must know something.

"Great Nyx, I pray to thee.

Help me see what you see,

Guide me on the right path.

Show me what you see."

I asked this of her, surprisingly she appeared before me.

"My dear child, you have called upon me and now I'm here. You wish for sight which you already have. Turn to a friend and you'll receive the sight you pray for." She said then was gone. Turn to the friend for sight. She couldn't mean.

I stood up and thanked her, I rushed out the temple to find her. Nikki, she must mean Nikki. I ran and found her with the same boy, this time they were just talking. I hid in the shadows watching them then just like yesterday a hand came around my mouth and pulled me away. I could tell it was Caspian so I didn't struggle, I heard him giggle.

"So you wont resist me?" He whispered, I smiled and taped his hand. He removed it.

"Well now that I know it's you no need to resist." I said, he pulled me close and kissed me. I was wondering what he was doing out here, I thought he'd be in class. But I don't mind him being here. I loved his touch.

"So where have you been?" He asked me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Well Nikki told Ryan that she didn't see you in any of your classes besides first hour. Where you go?" He asked in a cute tone.

"I went to Nyx Temple but I wasn't gone that long. Unless if that wasn't her but a dream." I whispered in question. That's when I remember the reason why I was here. "I need to talk to Nikki right now." I said leaving the shadows and walked straight up to her. "Nikki." I said her name, getting her to turn around.

"Raven what are you doing," She stopped form the look on my face. "You know." She said, I nodded.

"About your power, yes." I said standing in front of her. "I need your help." I said, she nodded her head. The boy stood up in question.

"What power?" He asked.

"Well Ryan, I have some different kind of power." She said looking scared.
