Lavinia Lastrange Book 1

Lavinia woke up to the sound of Rose and Wynter arguing outside her room. She rolled her eyes while getting up and put on her dressing gown and swung the door open.

" Sorry for waking you Liv but Wynter here wanted to just go right in and give you your mail." Rose said. " yes but we'll have a big day ahead of us. I mean she'll have to go back to Lastrange Manor and get ready if she's going to Hogwarts." Wynter said. She didn't want to go back but she knew she'd have to go back, she can't avoid it forever.

" Rose I really appreciate you not wanting to wake me but Wynter is right." Lavinia smiled. Rose gave Wynter a dirty look. If looks could kill.Cameron came down the corridor" Girls, mother wants you downstairs." He said.

They all made their way downstairs and sat down at the table in the kitchen. " Ok I know you girls probably want to go with Lavinia to Lastrange Manor but you need to get your school stuff too" her aunt Lana said. " Mother we could go together. Please I'm sure Lavinia doesn't want to go back to her house alone!" Rose said.

Lana didn't look that convinced. " Me and Carl could go with them" Cameron suggested." Ok, you can go. Just be back before dinner" Lana sighed before grabbing an apple and going into the library. " Thanks Cam!" Wynter beamed.

After they ate breakfast Lavinia went into her room and got dressed. She opened her letter it had a list of what she needed and her ticket. Wynter came in and frowned at her ticket. " platform Nine and Three-Quarters. How strange!" She giggled. She rolled her eyes at Wynter.

After everyone was ready they were standing by the fireplace. " remember say it real clear' Carl said. " I may be the youngest here but I do know how floo works" Lavinia scoffed. Lavinia took a pinch of floo powder and stepped into the fireplace. She dropped it and emerald green flames rose up. She stepped into it and said " Lastrange Manor".

She then appeared in the front room in her house. The house elf pinkie bowed to her. " Miss Lastrange is back." The house elf squeaked. " Hi Pinkie, long time since I've been here!" Lavinia sighed. Finally everyone else came out of the fireplace.

" let's go get my key to my vault and then we'll go to diagon ally" Lavinia smiled. They all went up the stairs. Carl went to go into her sister Maria's room. " Not that room" she yelled. The table outside Maria's room exploded. Cameron pulled him away.

They got to her room and they all went in. She went over to her table and took her key out of the box. " Lavinia, have you got family that ain't like you know, dark wizards?" Carl asked. " I do. I just don't know where they are! " she said.

"Well let's go to Diagon ally and get our school stuff !" Rose smiled. They all were heading towards the fireplace when something caught her eye. It was a book inside the libary. She went in and picked it up. It was the book her sister Maria loved, it had Spanish and latin spells.

Cameron came in " hey Liv you coming?" Cameron asked. She put it back in its place and followed him out the library and to her front room where the fireplace was.
