Lavinia Lastrange Book 1

chapter 11

Exams had passed and Harry had told Lavinia the whole story of the stone, the mirror and that professor Quirrell had Voldemort at the back of his head. She was a little shocked that Voldemorts head was on the back of her professors head.

"You don't belive me do you?" Harry said. "Oh I do belive you. It's just shocking that a professor that has been teaching us for the past year had Voldemort on the back of his head hid behind a turban." Lavinia said. Harry was just looking at her.

"What?" She asked. "You said You-Know-Who's name!" Ron said. "It's just a name, a word! I am not going to be scared to say a word, a name of a dark wizard. It's a bit stupid if you are! I mean you that's like saying you said Grinderwald" She said. "Have you packed your Trunk yet?" Hermione asked. "Yeah" Harry and Ron said in unison. "Nope" Lavinia said. "Well go do it" Hermione said. "We are on our way to the great hall. I will when I get back!" She said. Hermione always was the mother out of all her friends.

She sat between Fred and Hermione. They were halfway through eating when Fred poked Lavinia with a fork. "What?" She asked rubbing her arm. "Ok it's been bugging me since Christmas but who is that portrait of? The one where you room is behind her!" He said. "Oh that's Leta Lastrange. Family member of mine. Annoying she is, always talking.!" Lavinia said. "How does she talk to you? I mean she's outside and your inside" George said.

"She has a portrait inside too!" Hermione said. "How's she know? " Ron asked. "She's been inside my room that's why!" Lavinia said. "And we haven't. We are your mates!" Harry said. "She's questions a lot when boys go in. But if you want to help me pack you can!" She said.

After dinner Lavinia,Hermione, Harry, Ron, Fred and George went to Lavinia's room. Instead of helping her they just sat on her chairs and tables. "I thought you said you'd help" she yelled at them. "We lied" George grinned. She shook her head.

She was in an compartment with Harry,Ron and Hermione. "Lavinia who's meeting you back at London? " Ron asked. "Why?" She asked. "Well we want to know who your parents are!" Harry said. Hermione shook her head. "So nosey" hermione sighed"Well my parents definitely ain't meeting me. It could be my aunt Andromeda or Tonks." Lavinia said.

The train journey was full with talking and laughing. "I can't believe it been a year already!" Harry said. "It's a shame we can't use magic during the holidays!" Hermione said. "You can't!" Lavinia said. "And why can you?"Ron asked. "Well I moved from the English ministry to America's. In America your aloud to use some." She said. "Lucky" Ron said.

They all got off the train. She turned just in time to see Theo punch Carl.  Carl and Cameron went to punch Theo at the same time but Lavinia got her wand out and said"Protego" just in time. "Good quick thinking" Blaise said. "Yeah I couldn't let a Theo get hit by two third years"she said.

Theo,Carl and Cameron were waiting fro her. Just as she got there Fred and George turned her around. Fred handed her a fork. "This is a gift so you remember all the funny times the past year. See you next year!" They said in unison as they hugged her. She rolled her eyes and put the fork in her pocket.

"Now boys please explain to me the reason for you lot fighting!" She sighed. "Oh they know what they did. Also see you next year." Theo said walking away dragging his trunk along with Blaise. She looked at Carl and Cameron. They waited till the platform was empty before speaking.

"I said sorry" Carl said. "Yeah I know
" she said. "Ok is there any particular reason why them ginger twins gave you a fork!" Cameron asked. "You wouldn't understand. You'd have to be there." She said dragging her trunk with her owl Skye perched on top of the trunk.

She gave her stuff to Tonks to put in the car. "I'll keep visiting till you tell me the answer to that issue!" Carl said. "You'll get bored because I won't tell you."she sighed. "Well just remember you'll be in a big house all alone." Cameron said. "Well good bye boys" she said before getting in the car.

Tonks looked at her and back to the boys before driving off to Lastrange Manor.
