Lavinia Lastrange Book 1

chapter 8

In the morning she woke up early and decided to get breakfast anyway. She was eating some toast when Wynter came down. "Morning" Wynter yawned. "Morning" Lavinia smiled. She had almost finished her toast when Wynter said" Have this, I don't want it". Wynter then threw a Chocolate Frog at her. "Thanks" she said walking upstairs.

When she had got dressed and finished checking she ate the Chocolate Frog. The card inside was dumbledore's. She turned the card round and noticed a name. It was Nicholas Flamel. She then remembered where she had seen it and made a mental note to tell Hermione on the train.

She was pulling her trunk down the stairs when Cameron helped her. "Thanks" she said. She met Tonks outside kings cross. "I'm waving you off." She smiled. They were then standing by the train. Tonks then went to talk to an old friend when Carl came up to her.

She went to walk off but he grabbed her arm. "Rose now hates me and Cameron is a little shocked. Why?" He asked. "Let go of me" she spat. "Just tell me why! We're supposed to be friends" he said. "Not any more"she hissed. "Why not?" He asked tightening his grip on her wrist. "Let go of my cousin" Tonks spat. He let go. "Well she won't tell me something I want to know" he yelled. "Good. Now stay away from my cousin, I mean it" Tonks hissed. "That's gonna be a bit hard. She lives in the same house as my best friend." He yelled. "Not anymore" Tonks screamed her hair going vibrant red. Carl stormed off.

Draco and his mates were looking over and Hermione was rushing over. "Tonks, you've made a scene!" Lavinia sighed. "I don't care. He needs to back off" Tonks said. Lavinia hugged her. "Thanks though" Lavinia smiled. The train whistled. Lavinia dragged her trunk into her and Hermiones compartment.

"What was that about?" She asked. "Long story. It's stupid anyway!" Lavinia said. "Give me the short version" Hermione suggested." Family and Friends not getting on" Lavinia said. "Well Malfoy is outside and I think he wants to talk to you so I'll leave" she said getting up and leaving.

Malfoy came in and sat opposite her. "Why was that woman shouting at that boy?"he asked. "Is it really any of your business? " Lavinia asked. "Yes, it is because your my cousin" he said. Lavinia laughed a little. "Wait, your serious!" She said. "Yes. Your mother and my mother are sisters. Now why was she shouting at him?" He said. "Well me and him had a little problem. He just came up to me and that!" She said. "Who is he?" Draco asked. "He's name is Carl Jones" she said. He got up and left. She was a little confused as to why he did that but she decided to forget it for now.

Hermione came back in. "What was that about?" She asked. "Oh the usual"lavinia lied. Hermione raised an eyebrow. "What?" Lavinia asked. "I know he told you he's your cousin. I overheard him tell his mate Nott!" She said. "Then why'd you ask?" Lavinia asked. "Just wanted to hear you say it" Hermione smirked. "Whatever" Lavinia sighed. "Wait till Ron,Harry and the twins find out!" Hermione said. "You will not tell them" Lavinia hissed. Hermione simply smiled at her, Lavinia knew she'd have to keep an eye on her.

When they got to Hogwarts Harry and Ron were waiting for them. "Oh, yeah! I know who Nicholas Flamel is!" Lavinia told them walking off. They ran after her. "Tell us" Ron begged. "Well he is the only known maker of the philosophers stone." She said. "I've heard of that. The stone will transform any metal into pure gold it also produces Elixir of life which makes the drinker immortal." Hermione said. "Thanks Liv! " Harry yelled after her.

She got to the portrait of Leta Lastrange. "Back again my dear!" She smiled. "Yeah, yeah! Just open up!" Lavinia said. She opened and Lavinia stepped inside.

When she got in there was a letter waiting for her.

What is this about Carl coming to me saying that your cousin said that you won't be staying at ours any longer. Can you understand how I feel right now. Yes Carl said something he shouldn't have but that doesn't mean you have to move back into Lastrange Manor. What about the Death Eaters? What about me and Wynter. I mean we rarely see you due to you going to Hogwarts but now your moving out. Please don't. I swear if you do not come home for the summer I will be visiting Lastrange manor and will drag you back!

Lavinia laughed a little at the last sentence but stopped knowing she probably would. She wasn't very sure on moving back into Lastrange Manor but she didn't want to be around Carl. So she'd have to go back to her manor.
