Lavinia Lastrange Book 1

chapter 9

In the morning she walked into the great hall and sat down and started buttering some toast. The weasley twins sat down next to her. She started to wonder if Hermione had told them."What?" She asked. "Can't we just sit next to our mate for breakfast?" George asked. She raised her eyebrows at him. "Ok fine but not In here" Fred said.

Both of them grabbed an arm and pulled her up and pulled her out the great hall. "What?" She asked once again. "We need you to steal potions out of snapes office. Once you've done that smash them all over the walls while we're in Filch's office." Fred said.

After 20 minutes she came back with potions in her hands. Filch then took the twins into his office. She started smashing them everywhere and ran round the corner when the door opened. But when she ran round the corner she ran right into one of Draco's mates Blaise Zabini.

He helped her up. "Sorry" she said. "It's Ok." He said. She was a little shocked at hos answer, a Slytherin that is quite kind. She then looked round the corner seeing Filch very angry. Blaise looked too. "Ahhh, making a distraction while them weasley twins take something of theirs back." He said. "Yeah!" She said. Soon the twins came round the corner. "Bye Lastrange" Blaise said.

"What was that about?" George asked. "Well I kind of ran into him" she said shrugging. "Yeah! Thanks for helping us but I'm pretty sure we're late for first lesson so, let's not go" Fred said. "Good idea" lavinia smiled.

It got to lunch and Fred was sitting opposite her and George next to him. "So Malfoy and his mates keep staring, why?" George asked. "I don't know. Probably talking about how obvious you are when you see Angelina!" Lavinia smirked. Fred started laughing. George threw a fork at her but she ducked in time and it hit a Ravenclaw.   

George ducked under the table. The boy turned around. "I see you Weasley!" He said. George sat up while saying "sorry". Then he saw it was Finley Mason. "Wait, no I ain't." George called back. The boy scowled at him. Fred was now chocking on a bread roll. Lee had to come from his conversation to whack him on the back.

Percy Weasley then stormed over to them." Did you just throw a fork at Miss Lastrange and it hit Mr Mason?" He asked. "I don't know! Did I throw a fork Fred?" George asked. "Nope" Fred said. Percy looked at Lavinia but she avoided eye contact. Percy cleared his throat. She avoided his eye contact again. She saw Fred trying not to laugh. He cleared his throat again. She looked up. "Would you like a cough sweet Weasley?" She asked. Fred started laughing.

"Did George throw a fork?" Percy asked annoyed. "Mate, I can't remember!" She said. As Percy walked off the twins were laughing. Lee noticed her bruise. She quickly got up and left the great hall. Lee followed her out.

He caught up to her. "Where did you get that bruise?" He asked. "I don't know what your talking about?" She said. Draco came up to her. "Leave Jordan!"he said. "Ugh fine. But Lavinia find me after dinner!" Lee said before walking off.

"Show me your wrist!" He said. "My life, there's nothing wrong with it!" Lavinia sighed. He raised a brow at her. She showed him her unbruised wrist. "The other one." He sighed. She showed him the bruise. "Did this Carl do that?" He asked. "No"she lied. Draco then stormed off. 'So overprotective' she thought to herself.

She shook her head and headed for her next lesson. Hermione came up to her. "You left dinner early!" She said. "Yeah!" She said. "I heard you annoyed Percy! He's a prefect you can't do that!" Hermione said. "Ok won't happen again mother!" Lavinia smiled. Hermione shook her head at Lavinia.

It was finally dinner and she sat down next to Fred and George. She could see Draco across the hall, he looked angry! While she was eating she kept looking at him. "That's good isn't it Lavinia!" George suddenly said. "Yeah Yeah. That's good!" She said. "Good that we have detention with Snape! "George asked again. "She's seeing my views now" Percy said. "You wish!" Fred said.

Hermione kicked her under the table. "What?" She mouthed to her. "Malfoy looks angry. What did you do?" Hermione mouthed back. "Tell you later" lavinia mouthed back. Blaise and Theo then caught her eye and signaled her to meet them outside. She drunk the rest of her drink and headed outside.

After waiting for 10 minutes they both came out. "Let's go somewhere private!" Theo said. She lead them to her room. Leta looked at her. "Boys, in your room. I think not!" Leta said. "Leta open up." Lavinia said. She opened up while muttering "Stupid family".

Theo and Blaise  then sat opposite her. "Why is Draco so angry? He's been angry ever since he followed you and that Jordan kid out." Theo said. "Well he saw what Carl did on the platform!" She said. "What did he do?" Theo asked. She showed him the bruise on her wrist. "Wait till I see him next. He's getting punched. See I don't know you but Draco said if we all got to know you, you'd be alright. Also no boy bruises a girl" Theo said. "You can't he probably won't be there. Also he's I'd third year so don't!" Lavinia said.

The boys left her room. After 30 minutes Leta's annoying voice called "you have a visitor but she doesn't know the password". "Let her in" Lavinia said. Hermione came in.

"So what did you do to Malfoy?" She asked. "Oh, it's the bruise from Carl that made him like that"she explained. Hermione just stared at her.

They were talking and laughing when it was getting close to curfew so she left. "Bye Mione! " Lavinia said before she left the room.
