Lavinia Lastrange Book 1

chapter 3

It had got to the night before the first of September and Rose was helping her pack her trunk. Wynter was feeding her owl and Carl and Cameron were just sitting on her bed watching them. "You'll write to us as often as you can and come home for the holidays!" Wynter said. "I can't belive little Lavinia is going into her first year! "Carl said.

"Seriously, your in third year along with Cameron and Wynter and Rose are in second year. I'm not little just two years below you." Lavinia said. "Ok just write and come back for holidays or we will all come down to Hogwarts." Cameron said. "Yeah I will" she smiled.

Finally she had finished and Andromeda and Nymthadora came in. "You ready?" Nymthadora asked. "Yeah, Nymthadora!" Lavinia smirked. "Just call me Tonks!" Nymthadora sighed. "Sure" lavinia said. Andromeda and Tonks left with her owl and trunk.

After many rounds of hugging lavinia said" guys I'll see you at Christmas and I will write to you. Now goodbye!" Lavinia smiled sadly. She went downstairs and joined her aunts and cousin. "Lavinia i'll see you at Christmas. Have fun at Hogwarts." Her aunt lana said while hugging her.

They then left. In the morning Lavinia woke up and had breakfast. "You nervous?" Tonks asked. "No I'm very scared. I mean I'm a Lastrange, most professor's know that my mother and father are dark wizards, they probably know what happened to my brothers and sister."lavinia said. "Ok they won't suddenly think your a dark wizard. If they do, prove them wrong!"Tonks said.

They were walking behind a group of gingers to the platform. When the  woman turned around she said" Andromeda and Tonks! Who's this?" The woman asked. "Ahhh, Molly this is Lavinia Lastrange. Liv this is Molly Weasley!" Andromeda said. Lavinia quickly nodded at her and followed the Weasley children through the wall.

She said her goodbyes to her aunt and cousin. She put her trunk and owl in an empty compartment and sat down. She waved to her aunt and cousin as the train started moving. There was a knock on the compartment door. They came in. "What?" She asked. "Well we were just wondering if we can join you." One of the Weasleys from earlier said. "Ermm you can if you want" she said.

"So who are you? " Lavinia asked. " I'm Fred and that's George!" Fred said. "Well hi, I'm Lavinia." She smiled. "We knew your sister Maria very well. She liked to talk to us about you,a lot. James and Scott were pretty cool too. They were in our house too." George said. Fred stood on Georges foot. " sorry about George he's an idiot and I'm sorry if he upset you." Fred apologised. "It's Ok. " lavinia smiled.

They were finally at their stop. "Well Lavinia you go on the boats. We'll see you in the great hall. Hopefully you make it into Gryffindor" George said. "Yeah, see you at the castle!" Fred added.

She made her way over to the boats. The girl with the bushy hair from Ollivansers joined her. "Hi, I'm Hermione Granger." She said. "Lavinia" she said. They got into a boat with a ginger that was obviously a Weasley and a boy with messy brown hair and glasses.
