Anthony eyes slowly glided from the edge of Jhenea's colar bone, down to her hips. She had just gotten out the shower and he felt so tempted. He tried to sustain his eyes from going any further by looking away from her and focusing on the television. It had been this way for the last few weeks. He knew she wasn't secure within herself to have sex yet, but being a man, he wished she was.
His eyes soon rerouted back to her now dry body as she put on her bra and panties. "I can't do this shit." Anthony mumbled as he got up from the bed and brushing past her. He exited the bedroom to avoid his temptations.
He felt slightly selfish at the moment for only thinking of one thing for the past weeks. He knew she was still going through her phases----and he was still patient with her, but the testosterone pumping through him always seemed to overshadow all of that.
Anthony ended up sitting on the couch rolling a blunt to smoke. He had been smoking often and it was the only thing that really kept him going on days.
Jhenea had miscarried over a month ago and it was still risky waters when it came down to it. No one in the outside world really knew what was going on with the couple still so tonight, Anthony decided to throw something together to tell everyone.
Atlanta was now filled with their friends and tonight was just going to be a night of bad news.
Both Jhenea and Anthony decided not to bring their parental figures around for such because they thought that they deserved more than just a dinner.
Later on within this week, Anthony and Jhenea would be flying to New Orleans just to get that out of the way.
They both didn't want to meet each other's family within these circumstances, but those were the cards they were dealt with.
"Babe? Where's my ring?"Jhenea came to view into the living room as Anthony exhaled smoke from his nostrils.
Anthony looked over at her with an annoyed expression. This was her third time asking this same question within this week and he was honestly getting tired of it. "Yo' keep the shit on and we won't have no fuckin' problems." He sighed as he put the blunt out onto the ashtray.
Jhenea felt a little guilty, she knew that she only had this sprout of bad memory because of her antidepressants. The side affects were hitting her harder than normal and she was still trying to keep it away from Anthony. "Well I told you to go get it resized, but you never listen."
Anthony let out a breath of air in annoyance still trying to keep his patience with her. "Honestly, if you loosin' it like this, you dont need to be wearin' it out because if you loose it out there aint no way you gettin' it back. That'll just be a $120,000 platinum ring gone."
Jhenea looked down at her painted toes in guilt. "I'm sorry that I upset you, I promise not to loose it again. Just help me look for it."
Anthony sighed. "Pick your head up, you talking to me not your feet."He lifted her chin. "And just go get dressed, I'll find it." Dealing with all her emotions was really straining for Anthony. He never dealt with her while she was so sensitive and vulnerable. Although he knew he could over dominate her, he still knew that she still had that backbone where she put up a fight. Now she was just weak and submissive to him without any of her sass or attitude that he loved so much.
Although in the past, his goal was to get her like this so he could control her, now that it has happened, it was getting a little scary for him.
He missed the attitude, the strength and the confidence she use to have when it came to things. Now it was just all washed away.
