Anthony listened to Jhenea as she spoke things over with the contractor for her art studio. She decided to set the date for the opening about 10 weeks after she had the baby. Anthony was fine with the opening date and thought it was very reasonable.

"I actually wanted that wall to get blown out so I could have more space."She tapped the end of the pen onto her notepad.

"That wall has a pipe in it so doing that would have to make us reconstruct the plumbing and piping. We can do it, but it might over step your budget." Iman stated on speaker so both her and Anthony could hear.

Jhenea turned her head over to Anthony allowing him to handle anything that involved his money. Taking the phone from her hand, Anthony decided to speak. "How much we talkin' Iman?"

With an uncertain shrug Iman responded. "I can't give you an exact quote now, but my estimate would have to be about two grand due to how old and unmaintenance the pipes are." Anthony let out a distress breath of air knowing that things were actually costing more than he expected.

"You killing me man."Anthony said hoping that the price wouldn't be that much over budget just for construction it self. The expenses for design, supplies and any other thing that came up weren't even estimated yet and Anthony already knew he would have to be pulling more strings than usual.

Iman sighed. "I know,I know, which is why I'm gonna call up a friend to see if I can get anything done."

"Preciate it man."Anthony thanked him.

"Thank you Iman."Jhenea peeped in with a smile. Saying goodbyes, the phone call was then ended and the two went back to the slience that engulfed them.

They still weren't talking even after three days. Jhenea finally got tired of apologizing she decided to treat him like he treated her. It was a bit petty, however she thought Anthony was being a bit irrational and unreasonable.

In the kitchen, Jhenea stood cutting up some fruit to make her a fruit salad. Anthony continued to eye her attentively as she bumped her brows in concentration making sure not to cut herself.

Slowly approaching her he placed his hands on her waist causing her to stop in the midst of cutting the cantaloupe. She felt Anthony's chest be pressed onto her back as he applied his lips onto her cheek.
"Call it truce?" He suggested to her.

Jhenea shrugged her shoulders. "I was never upset, you were mad by yourself."

"Sorry."He apologized while cupping his hands on her now hardened and pudging stomach. "I just aint like the fact that nigga was all up in yo' face again and you aint bother telling me."

Jhenea nodded her head accepting his apology. "And I was wrong for not telling you. You deserved to know that I met up with an ex and I should have told you rather than lying."She held accountability for her wrong.

"We good."Anthony attested placing another kiss on her cheek. "But I have to talk to you about something."He followed her to the sink so she could wash her hands.

Letting out a dreading sigh full of apprehension Jhenea dried her hands. She turned around lifting her arms up so Anthony could place her onto the counter near her salad. "Baby we just got back on good terms."She whined while picking up a watermelon with her fork and placing it into his mouth.

After chewing, Anthony nodded his head in understaning. "I know mama, but just for us to not be on bad terms again, I have to let you know things beforehand." He explained.

Biting into a piece of pineapple, Jhenea agreed. "Just let me kiss you before I have a chance of getting upset. I haven't kissed you in like three days."She rolled her eyes in a childish fashion.
