(Y/N)'s pov

When Slenderman lifted me up with his tendrils it surprised me. I thought he might introduce me to everyone, but I never expected him to lift me off my feet. As he set me down I flattened my clothes down to get rid of wrinkles that my have appeared but also because I didn't exactly know what to do after that little show that Slenderman pulled. I could practically feel the smugness that was around him. He knew that I didn't know what to do and it gave him slight pleasure to make my speechless. I gave him a small glare at his actions and the small annoyance that I felt radiated off of me to everyone else in the room. Slenderman turned his head slightly towards me and put his left hand in the pocket of his suit as if looking for something.

After a bit he stopped and took out some objects from his pocket. He handed the objects to me as I half them slightly confused as I haven't seen them much before, as I only have seen staff at the asylum have these kind of 'iPhones' as I have heard people call them. Slenderman 'saw' my confused face and gave an 'expression' of realization.

"Ah, yes, I apologize I have forgotten that you are not familiar with modern day technology," he 'said' quietly but everyone could still 'hear' him.

"BEN," he said the name making BEN alert and slightly startled with the calling of his name so suddenly.

He gave a silent yet visible small gulp as he squeaked, "Yes?"

"I want you to teach (Y/N) about modern technology as being in confinement for as long as she has been, can make someone outdated with the technology that we use," he told BEN explaining my situation to him, as well as everyone else.

BEN nodded more confident with his actions. After I turned away from BEN I saw that everyone was staring straight at me with gaping eyes. I narrowed my eyes at everyone and they all turned away quickly not able to withstand my piercing gaze. After talking with BEN Slenderman disappeared, most likely teleporting to his office/room. I looked down at the objects or devices, as I should say, that he gave me. One was a phone, I believe, that I assumed to be custom made to fit my hands as the regular ones that I've seen others use looked quite small.

And the other thing that Slenderman gave me was a laptop I believe, it looked quite different and much more advanced than before I was in the asylum. I heard small and soft footsteps coming towards me which I assumed was BEN but was mistaken.

"You really haven't been outside in a long time," Toby stated in a soft voice.

"No, like I told you before, I was stuck in that place for 8 years next month on the 18th was gonna make it exactly 9 years," I informed him calmly as his mouth gapped open.

"I really thought-" Toby started but I cut him off.

"You thought I was kidding right?" I asked as a rhetorical question while looking down at him directly in the eyes.

He looked ashamed like a child who got caught doing something they weren't supposed to do. I looked down to the ground shamefully but in reality he had nothing to be sorry for. I sighed and patted his head awkwardly trying to comfort him as I don't really comfort people that much. He looked up with puppy dog eyes that held sadness but that sadness soon turned to happiness as soon as he saw my face, for some reason. I turned my head away unable to meet his gaze as I was not prepared to see him look like a lost puppy that was left in the rain. He soon became giddy and literally leaped onto me, and I being unprepared, and I fell to the ground as my arms instinctively wrapped themselves around him. As he was all giddy and excited I was just there being somewhat awkward not knowing exactly what to do.
