[Changkyun's POV]

Something was off. Like really off. Pfft everything's off in this household-- but no seriously!

Kihyun hyung was acting pretty weird since he woke up. And he's one of the "normals" in this house. Earlier, instead of using a spoon to stir the broth in our ramyun, he used a spatula...... A FLAT SPATULA!! What the hell hyung?

And when he went to change, his shirt was on backwards, his jeans was barely buttoned and he wore mismatched socks. And that only happens to Hyungwon or Minhyuk hyung..

That's still not the end though. He wore two different shoes to practice. One being Adidas, and the other being Vans. Hyung is seriously out of it today.

I walked up to Kihyun hyung after Shownu hyung gave us a water break to at least see what's wrong with our mom.

"Hyung are you okay? You seem out of it today." I asked with a worried tone and sat in front of Kihyun hyung who was leaning against the wall while drinking from his water bottle

"Yeah I'm okay, why'd you ask?" Kihyun hyung asked with a confused tone

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "You sure hyung? 'Cuz you're drinking from the wrong end."

Kihyun hyung looked confused for a moment and then looked at the water bottle he was holding. And sure enough, the bottle was upside down.

"No wonder I couldn't drink anything."

I heard hyung mutter under his breath.

I chuckled lightly at my idiotic hyung, "Hyung seriously something's wrong. Tell me." I asked again, hoping that he will open up this time

Kihyun hyung smiled lightly at me, "Maknae-ah for real I'm okay. You don't need to worry about me."

I stared at him with a look that said 'I don't believe you at all you dickhead.' until I heard Shownu hyung call us again to continue practicing. Kihyun hyung stood up and patted my shoulders before heading to his position.

I sighed and stood up before going to my position. What was I thinking? Of course hyung wouldn't open up just like that. He's always pretending to be cool and tough but he's just a little hamster deep inside.

[Kihyun's POV]

We were currently in Show Champion's waiting room, waiting for our name to be called. All the members were fooling around but I wasn't in the mood to do so. I just sat on the couch with my head thrown back.

I can feel the burning pain in my head again. The room was also colder than usual. I opened my previously closed eyes and looked over at the AC. It's on 22 degrees, why do I still feel cold???

I groaned and closed my eyes, putting my face towel over my face to block out the light. The light is only making me feel worse.

I felt someone sit next to me but judging by how careful they sat, I'm guessing it's Changkyun.

"Hyung are you sure you're okay?" I heard Changkyun ask, worry laced in his tone

Aigoo our sweet maknae seriously

I nodded a little to let him know I was still awake, "Ne (Yes) maknae, I'm okay."

Changkyun sighed before I felt someone lay their head on my lap. I slightly lifted my face towel and saw Changkyun laying his head on my lap with his eyes closed. Our maknae is seriously really cute.

[3rd Person's POV]

It was finally time for Monsta X to get up the stage and perform their long-awaited comeback song. The members stood at the side of the stage waiting for their sunbae, Seventeen, to finish performing.

When Seventeen came down, the two groups immediately gave each other friendly greetings and words of encouragement. But their interaction was soon cut off by a staff that called Monsta X in. The two groups quickly bid goodbye to each other as Monsta X quickly headed up the stage and waved at their fans who were cheering for them nonstop.

As they performed, the members could feel their adrenaline rush get the best of them. They danced and sang their hearts out to their song. They could all hear their fans going along with the fanchant.

But one member could barely focus on anything. All he could focus on was the pain he feels in his body and head. It was Kihyun.

He could feel his body grow weaker the more he continued performing. He tried hard to control his facial expression to not let the fans know that he wasn't feeling well.

Kihyun could feel his chest burning as if someone lit up a match inside his chest. His breathing was becoming more harsh as he tried to catch them.

Kihyun did his best to still put a smile on his face and make it look like he isn't in pain at all. But one person did notice. It was Changkyun.

Kihyun could feel his knees go week as they were nearing the end of the song. When the lights went off after they finished their performance, Kihyun collapsed.

He couldn't take it anymore. He was so thankful that this was just a live performance and no pre-recordings needed to be filmed.

Shownu and Changkyun immediately ran to the shorter male to see if he was still ok. Kihyun wasn't moving but was still breathing.

"Hyung fainted." Changkyun said under his breath as he watched Shownu carry Kihyun bridal style, heading backstage immediately

The staffs went and tended to Kihyun to make sure that the small male would be ok.

Changkyun felt helpless. He couldn't do anything to help his hyung. All he could is stand in one corner and watch the paramedics who just came tend to his hyung.

Kihyun woke up feeling his body ache and a throbbing pain in his head. He slowly sat up and looked around the area he was in. It was dark but he can tell where he is.

'I'm at the dorm...' Kihyun thought to himself

Kihyun was about to stand up when his arm accidentally bumped into a figure next to him, making the figure groan.

Kihyun smiled sheepishly before apologizing to the figure.

"It's okay hyung. How are you feeling?"

Kihyun recognized the voice as Changkyun's. He was shocked. He didn't think Changkyun would actually stay beside him until he woke up.

"I'm feeling okay. Still a bit sleepy though." Kihyun said softly with a small smile

The moonlight emitting from their bedroom window was enough to help Kihyun see the younger's face. His hair was sticking up and he had a mark on his face indicating a pretty good nap.

Not so good though since he wasn't exactly laying down.

"Go back to sleep then hyung." Changkyun said and gently pushed Kihyun's body backwards

Kihyun suddenly held Changkyun's hands taking the younger boy by surprise.

"Not unless you lay with me."

Changkyun's mouth fell open. His hyung never really asked to cuddle first. It was always the maknae who asked for it first. But I guess today is different.

Changkyun nodded shyly feeling his face get hot. He slowly laid down beside Kijyun as the older wrapped his arms around Changkyun's thin figure.

"Thanks for worrying Chankyun-ah." Kihyun softly whispered in Changkyun's ear

Changkyun smiled and buried his head in Kihyun's chest. That night, they both went to sleep, in each other's arms, and smiles on their faces.
