The Accident #2 [ChangKi]

[3rd Person's POV]

A bright light. That was all Changkyun saw when he opened his eyes. His eyes squinted trying to adjust to the bright light. After a few seconds, he realized that the bright light was the room's fluorescent light bulb.

He looked around the room and all he saw was white walls and different machines surrounding him with random tubes and wires stuck to his body.

'What am I doing in a hospital..?....' Changkyun thought to himself, feeling confused

Suddenly, he heard someone knock on the door. The person didn't even wait for a response before they opened the door themselves.

It was the doctor with the nurse following behind.

"Good morning Mr. Im, how are you feeling? My name is Doctor Choi and this is Nurse Yoon." Doctor Choi said politely

Changkyun looked at the doctor, confused, "Who's Mr. Im?? Is that me?" Changkyun asked, confusion laced in his voice

Doctor Choi, who was previously scanning his clipboard, halted with his movements. Doctor Choi looked up at Changkyun.

"You don't... you don't remember your name..?.." Doctor Choi asked

Changkyun timidly nodded his head, "N--no sir..."

Doctor Choi turned to Nurse Yoon, "We better run some more tests."

Kihyun and the other 5 hyungs sat in the waiting room, waiting for someone to step out the damn room and tell them what their maknae's condition is.

They were in the middle of discussing what they should do for the weekends in the cafe when Kihyun got a call from Seungmin, one of their close friends, saying that Changkyun got into an accident.

And the 6 of them never ran that fast in their entire life. Ever.

Kihyun didn't know what happened. Changkyun wasn't the type to cross the street without looking. Kihyun only had two conclusions. Either he was hit by a drunk driver... or it was intentional....

"Who do you think did this?" Minhyuk asked before sniffling and wiping away the snot that was making its way out of his nose

No one answered. They had no suspects. They couldn't think of anyone who could've done this because as far as they know, no one is bullying Changkyun anymore. Or so they thought.

Kihyun buried his face in his hands feeling the tears well up in his eyes again. He will seriously kill whoever did this to Changkyun.

After a few more hours, finally a doctor went out and headed to where the 6 boys were sitting.

"Are you Im Changkyun's relatives?" Doctor Choi asked

The hyungs quickly stood up, "Yes sir. Is Changkyun ok?" Hyunwoo asked, feeling his heart beat faster than its usual pace

"I'm sorry to inform you but Mr. Im is currently suffering from amnesia."

Kihyun froze. What?

"Wait, what did you say?" Kihyun said, butting in on the conversation

"The impact was too much for his head causing him to lose his memories. But there is still a chance that Mr. Im will regain his memories...." Doctor Choi trailed off

"How?" Hyungwon asked with his face all red from crying

"You can help him by doing the things you used to do. Telling him stories about himself, the things he used to like, or simply the things you all did as a group. But please. Never force him to remember something. If he experiences headaches while trying to remember something, make him stop. Or else, the chances of him regaining those memories will be slim."
