Hey guys Tormay5 here to talk about accuracy with you. I don't know about you guys but when someone is writing especially in historical fiction, inaccurate information about the time period and other things can not only be a distraction but can also make the work lose it's meaning. Sometimes it is not just about the time period but also about emotions.

Here is an example: A little girl has been separated from here parents and they are nowhere to be seen, a man walks up to her with a lollipop and tells her he will help her find her parents so she smiles, jumps up and down and goes with the man.

This is not only something that probably wouldn't happen in real life but also something that if you were that girl you would be just so happy about. The thing is when some people write their characters will jump from emotion to emotion inaccurately. A way to fix this is put yourself in the characters place. Think how you would feel and how you would react. This will make the whole story more believable. I hope this has helped!
