A/N
YO!! Ok so, it has come to my attention that I accidentally put a cuss word in my story. I just wanted to apologize for the use of vulgar language. It was a complete accident (so if you know me personally.. PLEASE DON'T TELL MY PARENTS😭😭 I DIDN'T MEAN TO!! IM SORRY!! *breaks down crying* I don't wanna go to counseling. 😭😭😭)
Ok, that's all. Please enjoy the story, hopefully, this time with less vulgar language. Thank you.
Bailey Scarlett walked into her classroom glaring at anyone and everyone she could see. She walked over to her usual desk until her teacher walked in.
"Ms. Scarlett, I'm afraid we changed seats while you were out. You will now sit next to Mr. Cooper."
She did so without complaint, even though she really didn't want to. I'm under-exaggerating here. By she really didn't want to, I mean she'd rather sit next to a rotting pig carcass with cow crap on it. That was how bad she hated Tanner Cooper. She would sit next to anyone else. Anyone else. Even Tracy Scott whom she pretended didn't exist. Bailey NEVER wanted to be in her "group".
She glared at Tanner as she sat down. "Cooper." She grimaced.
"Scarlett." He smirked. "I didn't realize we were on a last name basis."
"Shut up." She growled. "Ugh. Why are you so annoying?"
"It's my life purpose to make your life miserable princess."
Bailey narrowed her eyes. "Don't call me princess."
"Oh yeah, princess? And what are you going to do about it." He leaned in.
"I'm gonna beat you up that's what." Not realizing it she leaned in as well.
"Will you Ms. Prissy Pants? Will you?" He leaned in closer so their noses were almost touching.
"COOPER! SCARLETT! When you're done with your make-out session, would you mind joining us for class?" The teacher barked out suddenly, causing Tanner and Bailey to jump in their seats.
Bailey was blushing with embarrassment. "Sorry professor." She wasn't going to argue with him, she didn't want to get into any more trouble.
Tanner looked over at her and raised his eyebrows.
"We'll talk about this later." Bailey hissed angrily.
"About what princess? How we were making out?"
"Shut up Cooper."
**********
"Why are you sitting next to me Cooper?"
"It's a free country hun."
"Yes. Yes, it is, so I guess you're free to be an idiot then."
Tanner grinned. "Not bad."
"Can you please move? We talked about the incident at lunch." Bailey cringed when she said that.
*Flashback*
"NO! WE ARE NOT TELLING PEOPLE WE ARE DATING! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK THAT! UGH!! I HATE YOU!" Bailey yelled standing up. The whole lunch room was dead silent, and everyone was looking at her. "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!"
Everyone went back to their conversations. "Is it that time of the month princess?"
"SHUT UP COOPER!"
* End of flashback*
"I'm afraid not princess. If you can tell the bus is taking off now and I'm not allowed to move, otherwise, I might get in trouble with the mean bus driver."
Bailey groaned. Tanner knew very well that they could jump seats and the bus driver would never know.
"Please?"
"No can do."
She sighed. This was going to be a long ride.
**********
As the bus pulled up to her stop, Bailey jumped up from her seat, pushed passed Tanner and ran out the door of the bus.
As she got to the front door she pushed her back against the back of the door and slid down.
"Ugh. That was Hell on Earth." She said to no one in particular. She took her keys out of her bag and opened the door.
"Hello, creepy house that I hate." Bailey's parents were one of the richest people alive and sent her to Middleton High one of the most prestigious schools around. Filled to the brim with kids whose parents had way too much money to spare. The ones who got in on pure talent were outcasts.
Bailey had been sent to live on her own. She was always alone. What she liked to call the "lettuce of the family" the part that no one liked. She had 12 siblings, all of whom her parents cared about more than her. The only reason she was at an actual school instead of having a private tutor like the rest of her siblings was that her parents thought she was too much of a pain in the butt to keep at home.
Bailey Scarlett was alone, yet surrounded by people, she was angry, yet she still had hope, that one day, one day. She would be noticed by her family. And that one day, she could lower her walls and not be such a jerk all the time, but she needed to be able to trust someone again and that was easier said than done. (A/N- I think that was the cheesiest thing I've ever written. Sorry for the serious cringe right there.😊😊)
Bailey changed into a black leather jacket, leggings, and a red crop top, pulled on some biker gloves, pulled back her hair and walked out of the house. She pulled on her helmet, got on her motorcycle and drove off. (A/N I know she's 15 and not technically allowed to ride a motorcycle but just go with it ok?)
