Bailey and Tanner has bumped into each other while they were looking around, Tanner had screamed like a little girl, but in his defense, Bailey had literally melted into a puddle of shadows then reformed. They were both confused, and really needed to find some answers as to where they were, where Tracey had disappeared too, and what the hell was going on.
Tanner was just panicking and running around with his hands in the air like a lunatic. Bailey was being more sensible and pacing back and forth trying to figure out why she had turned into a black puddle.
All of a sudden something happened, the sensation was hard to explain, it went completely dark, and there was a tugging feeling in their guts. The ended up next to Tracey, in a giant auditorium, in the bleachers. All the seats next to them were packed full of people, of all different ages.
"Tracey! Where are we what's going on? How did we get here? Do you know? Oh please say you-"
Tracey nudged him in the arm. "Shhh it's about to start."
Whatever Tracey was talking about did start. The lights in the auditorium flashed a bright red and a lady entered. She might have been beautiful once. She certainly had that "once graceful" look about her. But now she looked like a mess. Her hair was snow white and tied up in an extremely messy bun on the top of her head. It was falling out all over the place. Her eyes were such a brilliant shade of emerald green you could see them from the stands perfectly clear, they had a such a crazy look in them, Bailey almost didn't want to be able to see. Her face was covered in wrinkles, her body covered in scars. Her long black dress covered most of her, it was a lot like a robe. She cleared her throat.
"HEEELLLLOOOOOOO CHILDREN YOUNG AND SMALL! HOW ARE YOU TODAY?!"
"WERE GOOD MRS. GEORGE! HOW ARE YOU?!" They all shouted back. As if it had been rehearsed, over and over again.
"IM GOOD! NOW TO OUR FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS!" She banged a book on a table that had magically appeared. "THE BOOK OF BUSINESS!"
The crowd ooed and awed.
"THIS HERE BOOK HAS THE ENTIRE AGENDA FOR THE WHOLE YEAR! NOW THE NEXT ORDER OF BUSINESS! WE NEED TO WELCOME OUR NEW FRIENDS! TANNER! BAILEY! TRACEY! WOULD YOU THREE PLEASE STAND UP?!"
The three kids looked at each other. Tracey was the first to stand up. She smiled and waved. "Hi! I'm Tracey as you all just heard. My parents are really rich... and I hope we can become great friends!" She smiled and sat back down.
"A SPEECH WAS NOT REQUIRED MRS. SCOTT! BUT THANK YOU ANYWAYS!" The last said shouting. Bailey was starting to wonder whether she could loose her voice or not. It didn't seem like it.
Tanner stood up next And just did a small wave thing then sat back down. Bailey didn't even bother to stand up. She just raised her hand slightly and put it back down again.
"ANYWAYS! NEXT! SCHEDULEEEESSSSS!" She did a weird screaming/singing combo thing, then grabbed a large stack of papers and threw them at the crowd.
'Doesn't seem like a great way to hand those out.' Bailey though her, getting ready to duck if she needed to. She didn't because all the papers arranged themselves nicely in front of everyone. She hesitantly reaches out to grab hers and read over it.
Tanner And Tracey's looked the same too.
"ALL THE NEW CHILDREN WILL BE SHARING A SCHEDULE WITH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING! DAWN! ARE YOU UP FOR THIS TASK OF HARDSHIP AND EXPLAINING?!"
A small girl with blonde, curly hair and a large bow stood up. "YES MAM!" She yelled out like a drill sergeant, then sat back down.
"GOOD BECAUSE THE SCHEDULES ARE ALREADY SET! NEXT ORDER OF BUSINESS!! WELCOME TO THE SCHOOL FOR MAGIC! THE ONLY ONE FOR MILES! HERE WE ARE HIDDEN FROM THE WAR GOING ON AROUND US! THEY CANT FIND US HERE NO MATTER HOW HARD THEY LOOK! CHILDREN COME FRLM AFAR TO LEARN TO CONTROL THEIR POWERS! SO THEY TOO CAN ONE DAY, GO OUT THERE AND TRY TO STOP THE WAR!"
'War? What the hell is this crazy place?!' Bailey thought to herself.
Ms. George's piercing emerald eyes darted over to Bailey and just about started into her soul before they started away again. "YOU ARE ALL SPECIAL! YOU ALL HAVE POWERS! AND YOU ALL ARE MAGICAL! THAT MEANS WE HAVE TO SET SOME GROUND RULES! RULE NUMBER 2! NEVER EAT ANYTHING UNLESS ITS ON A PLATE!" Bailey thought it was odd this had to even be a rule. She also thought it was odd that the lady decided to skip rule number- "1 NO PETS ALLOWED! THEY ARE TO DANGEROUS AND THE LADT PERSON TO TRY TO BECOME AN ANIMAL MASTER DIED MISERABLY! P.S. she got torn apart by her very own rabbit. That thing was down right vicious. Took ten people to blast it down."
That seemed to be the first time anyone had heard the lady drop down below a yell. The whole auditorium was shocked until she started to yell again. "RULE NUMBER 5 DONT GO ANYWHERE ALONE! ALWAYS TAKE A WALKING BUDDY!" A walking buddy? What the hell?! Bailey was sort of sick of this she kept skipping numbers and yelling and stuff. "NUMBER 3! DONT GO INTO ANYONE ELSES DORM WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION!"
"LAST BUT NOT LEAST RULE NUMBER 4! DONT GO EXPLORING! THE SCHOOL OR THE WOODS! THANK YOU! YOU ARE DISMISSED GOOD BYE!"
Everyone got up to leave and so, the three... sort of friends got up as well. At the door they were greeted with the small girl from before. Dawn?
The small blonde had a huge smile on her face. "Hi! I'm Dawn if you didn't already know. I'm going to be like you're... Uh... your guide?"
Bailey was physically looking down at this girl she was so short. "Uh... how old are you exactly?"
"18. I'm just really short... I'm half pixie. That's different from a half fairy." She said darkly as if she didn't want to be mistaken for one.
"Half pixie? What?"
"Yeah! My mom is a human and my dad is a pixie!" She smiled. "So I can do this!" She pulled out a knife and grabbed Baileys hand, making a small cut.
"Ow! What the h-" she was cut off when the girl closed her eyes and whispered something. A small light appeared around Baileys hand and it swirled around the cut s few times before disappearing. Along with the cut.
