The day after "the incident" Tanner sat down in science. The class he hates most. Why? Because he had to sit next to her
Tracy Scott. He hated her. She always was flirting with him. But his heart belonged to on\e person Bai- THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED.
(Sorry. I'm a fangirl. I'll tell you the real story.)
Tanner really did hate Tracy. She thought she was the only perfect human on Earth and any boy that didn't want to date her was crazy.
Tanner has always just ignored her, hoping that she would stop talking to him.
But ignoring her seemed to make her more agitated. At the moment Tracy was rubbing against like a cat marking its territory. It was weird.
Tanner turned around when he heard someone snickering.
"Looks like you've attracted the Queen Bee Tay-Tay," Bailey said in between laughs.
"Don't call me that," Tanner said glaring at her.
"It's payback for you calling me princess." She ruffled his hair.
"Ugh."
"Ya know, she looks like a cat rubbing on you like that."
"Does it look like I want her rubbing me," Tanner said trying to shake Tracy off her arm.
"I'm right here you know," Tracy whined.
Tanner and Bailey whipped towards Tracy. "Shut up." They said simultaneously.
They looked back towards each other ignoring Tracy once more.
"You're such an idiot."
"No, you are."
This continued for about an hour. Yes. Literally an hour. Finally, they snapped out of it.
"Hey, where is the teacher?" Bailey asked.
"Umm... where is everyone else?" Tanner looked around noticing all the seats were empty.
DING! DING! DING!
"Aahhh crap! Was that the bell?" Bailey yelped grabbing her bag and darting to her next class with Tanner on her heel.

Tanner sat down on the bus, alone. The day before had been a special occasion, he had a rule, which he had broken yesterday. That rule was that he would never annoy Bailey on the bus. Why? Because he decided that she deserved a peaceful ride home. Ok. That wasn't true. He had his own thoughts on the way home.
His family was..... how do you say it... not kind to him. He was the only son and his parents were a little.... traditional. And he was expected to be the best. But Tanner has always been a rebel. He refused to listen to his parents. In response, they had hired him a private tutor. So as soon as he was done with school, it was just a start to the day. It was horrible.
But there was one thing that made everything worse. His little sister. He loved her more than anything, but one day while they were walking home from school, someone grabbed her without Tanner noticing. And they got away. His parents blamed him. Which caused them to fight until he stormed up to his room.
He kept that part of his life hidden at school. Trying to ignore the hole in his heart left by Katrina by pulling pranks and annoying the life out of Bailey.
But on the bus, he was mentally preparing himself for another beat down from his parents.
