Thistle honey on the tongue
tastes sweet and sour
and is eaten among
the pungent cheeses any hourA floral aroma deep and strong
spread among an admiring throng
who dip savory pastries there into
its dish among a drunk milieuEven thorny little things
can with time be known to bring
delightful pleasure to senses full
Making a kind heart from one cruelDrink deep from the spirit
of a summer honey wine
and taste all the dreams
plucked from the vineStir in the bitters bit by bit
bleed each one into your cup
add a touch of spice where they sit
and then you can tip the bottom up(October 10th, 2017)
