Chapter 5

-9:00 am
-Hannah's POV-
I wake up my vision slightly cloudy. I try to sit up but I'm restrained.
"Why am I in these." I say to myself. I hear footsteps coming from down the hall. Dr. Ashton walks in.
"Hannah I see you're awake now." He smiles.
"What's going on?!" I shout.
"Hannah sweetie no need to shout. You had one of your episodes again."
"Episodes?" I look at him with a questioning look on my face.
"Yes, it was a demonic episode." Dr. Ashton sighs.
"I had one of those again?" I question.
"Yes. I also hate to say this but Josh was the one that found you like that."
Oh no. I start breathing heavy and tears run down my face.
"Hannah it's okay." Dr. Ashton puts his hand on my shoulder. He walks out of the room then minutes later comes back with Josh.
"Hey Hannah." Josh smiles.
"Can you take me out of these restraints Dr.Ashton?"
"Yes." Dr.ashton starts taking off the braces from my wrists and ankles.
"Josh!" I shout making him jump and come back to reality.
"Hmm oh sorry. I spaced out for a minute."
"It's okay." I say getting up to hug him.
"I'll leave you two to talk and Hannah if you're hungry I'll bring you something." Dr. Ashton says before leaving the room.
"So I'm your protector?" Josh questions.
"Yeah I guess so." I sit back down on the bed Josh joins.
"I know that you're worried about me seeing you like that Hannah but I love you just the same as I did before." He takes my hands in his then kisses them.
"I love you too Josh." I smile.
-10:00 am
Josh and I talked about everything. I'm glad that he loves me just the same.
"Here's some food Hannah." Dr.Ashton says bringing me a plate.
"Thank you." I say and start devouring the food.
"Also you and Josh can go to the gym today and listen to music. I'll take y'all down there." Dr. Ashton says.
"Okay."
"I heard the word music?" Josh comes into the room.
-10:30am
I get dressed and brush my teeth before Dr. Ashton walks us down to the gym.
"There will be some green bands in here so just try your best to stay away from them." Dr. Ashton says.
"Yes sir." Josh says.
We both walk in and are greeted by a nurse.
"You two can do whatever you want and I'm sure Dr.Ashton already said but stay away from the green bands." Nurse Blaise says.
"Got it." I say then smile as Josh and I head over to play some basketball.
"Are we actually playing or just doing it for fun?" Josh comments.
"We can play a one-on-one game." I say as I throw the basketball ball into the basket.
"You're so on!" Josh shouts.

-Time Skip-
After a couple of games and a few eyes watching us we decided to stop and take a break.
A couple of people from the green bands were eyeing us and whispering to each other. It didn't really bother me but Josh got tense about it.
"Why in the hell do they keep looking at us?" Josh spits out.
"Who knows. Let's just ask to leave." I say grabbing Josh's hand. Josh yanks away from me and storms off towards them.
"Josh don't!" I shout grabbing his arm. My grip tightens as he starts to pull away but my strength gets the best of me.
"It'll only cause trouble if you touch them Josh. Please let's just leave." I say slightly letting go and intertwining our hands together.
"Is everything okay?" Nurse Blaise says.
"Yes. Can we go back to the dorm?" I ask.
"Of course. Since I know the green bands like to gossip and it can get irritating." He smiles then walks towards the door.
We follow Nurse Blaise in silence. Once we enter the red band dorm I go straight to my room and lay down.
"Hannah can I lay down next to you?" Josh questions.
"Yeah of course Josh." I say. Josh then walks in and lays down beside me.

We laid down in silence for what felt like was forever but it has been maybe ten minutes.

Josh reaches for my hand and intertwines are fingers. We just continue to lay there in complete silence just enjoying each other's company.
