Dead Hearts - Luke x Reader

Chapter 8

Elliot sat on the ground with irritation and confused in his eyes. The person before him was a boy close to the age of eighteen to twenties. He had a scar on the left side of his face. Little freckles danced across the males face. His hair was waved to one side as his blue eyes gazed into Elliot's brown ones. His body was much like Elliot's and Luke's.

"Ell?" He asked in a thick Russian accent.

"A-Adrain?" Elliot asked.

That's when the blondish orange haired, Adrain, broke into a smile. Pulling Elliot up, he embraced him into a tightly hug. Elliot would have returned the hug, but his hands where bind behind his back. The boy must have noticed and cut him free.

"I thought you were dead..."

"(Who is he) KTO OH?" Another male asked.

"(An old friend) Старый друг," Adrain replied.

Elliot glanced between them.

"It's okay Elliot, your safe here," Adrain replied. "You must be hungry. How about my sister and I make you a meal and we can catch up, yah?"

Elliot nodded as Adrain when over to his sister who has red tipped hair and orange blonde like her brother. As they spoke Elliot noticed a few giving him unsure looks. That was until one walked over to him. Brown hair with his bangs falling to his eyebrows. Black, thick rimed glasses and a thin frame.

"You are friends with Adrain, yes?" He asked.

Elliot nodded.

"Yes, I'm Elliot," he smiled.

"I am Arvo," he replied.

They talked for awhile until Elliot spotted a white and black wolf around the size of Pup. Elliot learned that her name was Mink.

Y/n's POV

Jane and I helped Luke to the roof. Then Nick and I got Jane up. I got Pup up while Clementine got Sarah to come with us. Nick and I worked quickly on getting the girls up. Clementine and Luke helped Nick up as Jane helped me up.

With that the seven of us left. While we walked Luke felt somewhat guilty about going to the roof first. Jane told us the story of her now dead sister. Clementine felt bad and apologized to her. We have all been threw hell and back.

Clementine lost her parents and a man named Lee. I lost both of my parents and I'm not even sure if my brother is still alive. Knowing my going to lose Nick hurts. I know Luke has lost a lot as well. I know my brother did. Lost our parents, his girlfriend, and his child.

We have all lost someone and we don't have room for pity. I stayed by Nicks side as we walked. Pup was with Sarah who walked in front of us. Clementine, Luke, and Jane were leading the way back. When we got their, Rebecca went to Sarah before going to Nick. Luke stopped by me and sighed.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I said back at the house," Luke spoke softly.

"It's fine Luke," I stared, "because I'm sorry too."

Luke turned to me, giving me a questioning look. That's when Nick came over.

"Nick...you need to tell him.." I whispered.

I didn't dare look at Luke when Nick let him know what happened. I just couldn't look at him.

"Know what?" Luke asked.

Nick took a deep breath and pulled back his sleeve.

"I got bit," Nick mumbled. 

It was quiet for a few seconds until I heard Luke harsh voice.
