[14 months later]

"Ya.. Hiya! Runnn!" I heard Jimin's faint voice from a distance.

I lifted my gaze from the ground to look at him standing a few feet away, waiting for me to catch up with him. My hands rested on my knees as I tried to catch my breath, still panting, gasping for air. Morning walks were never my thing. And in January it wasn't less than a nightmare.

I took a deep long breath and steadied myself straight and started jogging towards him.

"Ya! why are you so lazy?" he said as he flicked my forehead with his fingers.

"Yaaaa!!!" I squealed and started rubbing my forehead. My face scrunched in pain. That hurts.

"I'm not lazy!" I protested but he just chuckled.

It was surprising how he could complete several rounds and still look like he had just entered the park ready to run miles. While I looked like a troll, panting and exhausted ready to leave the park and go home.

Cursing the day I agreed to accompany him for morning walks was a regular habit now. But it wasn't all as bad as it seems. I enjoyed a moment there and there too.

"I'm going to take one more round" he huffed.

I'm? I gave him a questioning yet knowing look.

"Just wait here for me" he smiled and my mouth reciprocated by breaking into a big grin as a wave of happiness washed over me.

I watched Jimin leave and sat down on the bench nearby taking in the beautiful morning winter view when the sound of a notification arriving caught my attention. I pulled out my phone from my pocket clicked on the Wattpad notification. My hand almost immediately moved to click the 'Message' when I saw a red dot by its side. But to my despair as usual it wasn't him. I sighed and leaned my back further on the wooden bench.

I scrolled down the screen, searching for him and opened his last message.
