Samantha sat next to Mason on the bleachers.

Liam stood next to a boy from Devenford Prep, who she was informed was Liam's old school.

The boy, named Brett, was demonstrating Lacrosse moves (and kept on calling them perfect) while Liam picked up the Lacrosse balls Brett kept on shooting.

Samantha saw Liam look over at her, and she gave him a small smile and thumbs-up which he returned.

Brett looked over at Samantha and waved, causing the girl to scrunch her face as she waved back.

Samantha sighed as Brett started to murder Liam on the field.

Liam kept on getting hit and kept on falling.

Samantha leaned over to Mason. "I thought Liam was like best Lacrosse Player of this year?"

"He is, even before he got bit." Mason sighed. "Brett lowers his esteem a lot."

Samantha sighed, frowning over at Liam who laid in the middle of the field.

"You should remember to cover your back," Liam called, glaring at Brett. "especially if your opponent's a dick."

"You got some pretty big cleats to fill now that Scott's leaving." Brett taunted. "You sure you can handle this?"

"I managed all summer." Liam replied.

"Summer's over." Brett smirked, walking away.

Samantha hissed, standing up. "I think I can take him."

"A five foot girl in a loose lacrosse hoodie versus a six foot two guy in full lacrosse gear." Mason replied. "Sure, you can."

"I'm five foot four!"

Lori appeared next to the two of them, saying hi to Mason.

"Hey, I'm Lori. Brett's sister." Lori smiled, shaking Samantha's hand.

"Samantha McCall, Scott's sister." Samantha smiled. "Your brother's a dick."

Lori smiled, nodding. "I know."

"Corey's been practicing all summer to be a goalie." Mason piped up, gushing.

The three of them turned as Brett threw a ball at the net.

Corey fell on his face as the ball shot past him.

"The season doesn't start for at least a week." Lori said, trying to light up the situation.

"Thank God." Samantha and Mason muttered in unison.

The three of them looked back at the field, seeing three people fell into a heap, knocking the net over.

"Was that Liam, Brett or Corey?" Mason asked, sighing.

"I think that was all of them." Lori replied.
