Samantha let out a groan as Liam and Malia argued with her trapped in the middle.
Her eyes darted down frowning as she felt unstable.
"The ground's recently been disturbed." Samantha told Liam, who looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
"The ground. Someone just passed by here before we did." Samantha said, bending down and flicking some leaves away and revealing footprints.
"Someone's covering their tracks." Scott said, bending down next to his sister.
"The hunter probably knows someone's bound to look for Brett." Lori suggested, making Samantha shake her head.
She pushed away more leaves to reveal another set of smaller, heeled footprints, smirking. "I told you it's a girl."
"There's another hunter." Scott whispered.
"Two of them?" Malia asked.
"Maybe more."
"How many hunters have you seen out here before?" Lori asked.
"A lot."
"Still want to split up?" Malia asked, snarling over at Liam.
"We'll deal with it," Liam rolled his eyes. "We just have to find Brett first."
Samantha turned to see Lori walking towards a pile of rocks. "Guys, I think Lori found something."
"Rock Balancing, Satomi taught us." Lori said, pointing over to the pile. "It's him, and I know where he's going."

"I can't believe I'm in the sewers again." Samantha muttered as she walked next to Liam and in front of Scott.
Scott shushed her as Lori bent down, dipping her hand in a puddle of black goo. "He's been poisoned."
"That's blood?" Samantha asked, nearing the puddle and frowning. "If he's poisoned, we have to find him before he runs out of blood, or before the poison reaches his heart."
"He's poisoned, so that's why he's not healing." Scott told himself, still processing the information.
"What if he runs out of time to live?" Lori panicked.
"If we howl, we could find him." Liam suggested.
"Too risky." Malia replied.
"Who cares about the risk? He could be dying!" Lori argued.
"Shut up and stop being pessimistic. That's Stiles' job and my job." Samantha told Lori, turning and pointing at Scott. "What do we do?"
"He's still moving." Malia pointed to the blood trailing forward.
