"Miss Monroe. The Guidance Counsellor. She's the hunter we're looking for. You were right."

Samantha has been antsy and anxious ever since she received Liam's message.

That was one period ago.

As she arrived in her next period, she sat immediately and leaned back on her regular chair as she waited for Corey, Liam and Mason to come from their Geography class to their Biology class.

She narrowed her eyes at the door, her tongue poking the insides of her cheek and her fingers drumming on the chair as she waited for the three boys to enter.

A girl sat next to her, giving her a small smile which she returned.

The girl started to fix her things as Liam, Mason and Corey entered the room.

"Hey, dickhead." Samantha whispered from the next table as Liam sat.

Liam grinned at her and poked his tongue out, making her roll her eyes and flip him off.

A girl arrived sitting next to Liam, and tensing.

She glanced over at Liam and stood back up trying to change seats.

"Liam, is there a problem?" Mrs. Finch asks making Liam smile nervously.

"Not me." Liam replied.

"Who will let Liam join their group?" Mrs. Finch asked, waiting for a raise of hands and sighing at Mason and Corey's hands. "Someone other than you two."

Samantha furrowed her eyebrows as she waited for someone to raise their hands.

"You all have one minute to for someone to volunteer or else everyone fails today's lab." Mrs. Finch called out.

Liam kept his head down as seconds ticked by without anyone raising their hands.

Samantha's seat screeched on the floor as she stood to move seats and glaring at everyone as she sat at Liam's table.

With one final glare at everyone, especially the girl who exchanged seats with her, Samantha frowned over at Liam. "What happened?"

"This is just getting worse." Liam whined over to Samantha.

"Well, it gets worse-worse." Corey winced at his own words.

"What?" Samantha asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she turned around to look at Mason and Corey.

Liam turned around dramatically, whining over at Corey. "Why do you only show up when there's bad news?"

"The entire Lacrosse team is looking for you and barring the exits." Corey sighed.

"What?!" Samantha screeched as Liam turned back to the front, breathing deeply.

"They're going to try to make them shift in front of everyone." Corey explained.
