Chapter 28

Jungkook's POV

I woke up to an empty side of the bed, slowly getting up i sat up and stretched. The sun was already up in the sky, I yawned again and got out of the bed. Rubbing my eyes, i made my way to the kitchen, where hyung was making breakfast i suppose. "You finally woke up.." he chuckled slightly, and ruffled my already messy hair as he grabbed something from the fridge. I hummed in response.

"I tried waking you up twice, but you won't even budge. But i guess that is a given since you were tired from yesterday.." he trailed off. "I am going to go change, we have to leave soon right?" i changed the subject quickly. Hyung nodded his head, "Yeah, i'll prepare food in the meanwhile." I went and took a shower, quick and changed into some warm clothes, since it was cold outside. What i noticed was that my clothes, even the once over sized ones, started seeming tighter, especially around my abdomen. 

I concluded that i need to go shopping for clothes and i went out,where i could smell the freshly cooked scrambled eggs. While eating i told hyung that i needed to go buy some bigger clothes. "Alright, it is a weekend so we will go after the visit to the clinic. Fine?" he asked smiling at me, "Perfect." i smiled back and we continued eating.

"Jungkook, come on! It is almost time!" hyung called from the front door. "Coming!"i answered as i struggled to tie the laces of my shoes, trying to end down. Lately, bending has been a problem that i have been facing. "You could've just asked me." he appeared in the room and shook his head as he sat down on the floor, and tied my shoe laces. 

"C'mon." he pecked my forehead and grabbed my hand. As soon as our palms joined, a blissful smile broke out on my face. We made our journey to our destination, the clinic. The ride was quiet but it was filled with comfortable, an exchange of smiles and kisses on the palm were happening from time to time.

"Hello, Jungkook i see you are back." Dr. Lee greeted us with her usual bright smile, and we greeted back. "Okay so let's start off directly, how have you been? How's morning sickness?" she asked, "It has been getting better lately, like it is not that frequent." i answered, "I see, the little one is growing bigger." she said chuckling compiling some reports.

"Now i have put in some other handouts and pamphlets of information, on the upcoming months read them if you want, to make things understandable. Let me warn you, you will start to have swollen feet and backaches a lot once the bump starts growing more. It is going to be hectic, i will suggest some walks, even if you are short of breath They help a lot." 

I kept on nodding my head, "Now let's  go get the ultrasound done.", we moved to the separated part of the room. I was motioned to lay down, hyung bent down and slipped off the shoes of my feet, while doing that he looked and smiled at me and i could feel him radiating off nervousness. Giving him a reassuring one in return, i proceeded to lay down. 

Once again, a cold gel was rubbed on top of my stomach. Then the entire process began, this time, a thump could be heard. "You hear that? Beautiful, little girls sure have fast heart beats like that," Dr.Lee clapped her hands in excitement. Hyung and i made eye contact and my heart fluttered at the thought of a little girl, hyung had a similar reaction, his eye glimmering with excitement. 

"Do you want pictures?" she asked us once i got back off. "Yes, please." hyung answered with a big, goofy grin on his face, any signs if nervousness lost. "Collect them from the reception counter in a while." with that we headed out. 

We sat on some chairs located near the counter. Hyung gave his seat to an elderly woman. "What a gentleman." she praised him, and i continued with reading through the papers Dr. Lee had given me, hyung joined too circling some important points here and there. "Jeon Jungkook and Jung Hoseok." the names were announced, and hyung rushed to get them. 

'Let's go." i was dragged out and sat in the car. He opened the folder, and grinned instantly, string at the pictures in amazement. I chuckled at his eager behavior, "I want to see them too."I whined, and he reluctantly passed them to me, not before taking a picture on his phone.  I don't know what got into me, but my eyes teared up  bit, by looking at the pictures in admiration. "I will send these to mum." i said eagerly, and hyung hummed in response. 

Sent. The tick showed on my phone.  I smiled, and my phone started buzzing a lot suddenly. Taking it back out, i saw at the screen in horror.

Jimin: JEON JUNGKOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Taehyung: WAIT WHAT ARE THESE?

Jimin: ARE THESE REALLY REAL?

Taehyung: WHAT IS HAPPENINGG?!!!

I let out a yelp, "You fine?" hyung asked in worry after stopping the car.

"Hyung i accidentally, sent the picture to Jimin and Taehyung."
