Chapter 19

Jungkook's POV

I woke up to an empty side of the bed.I supposed that hyung was probably in the kitchen. Rubbing my yes and yawning, i made my way towards the kitchen. Pushing the door open,i was only met with silence again. "Hyung? Are you in the bathroom?" I called out and was met with no answer .I sat on a chair,waiting for someone to come out. No one did. I shrugged it off, thinking that hyung was probably in his apartment.

I went to the fridge, to get the milk to have some cereal when my eyes set on a plate of pancakes. I took it out and read the note that was with it.

Don't worry Jungkook, i will be back by the 5.

Sorry the classes resume from today, so i won't be able to see you much.

Enjoy the pancakes i made,your mother will be there for lunch, i will try my best to join if i can!

I smiled at the short note. Guess i am by myself today. First, i made sure that the front door and every window was locked. Then, i moved onto my breakfast. I scrolled through my texts. There were countless texts from Jimin and Taehyung, asking where i was, why can't they come visit me etc. i read the latest message in the group chat by Taehyung.

hotMochi: Just please tell us how are you? Are you okay?

JeonKookie: GUYS I AM FINE CALM DOWN, I AM FINE. I am sorry for not replying earlier. I am at my grandparent's place in Busan. They live in a remote area so we hardly have wifi signals here. I don't know when i am coming back, since they need someone to take care of them, but the won't keep any helpers.

Weirdass: THANK GOD YOU ARE ALIVE. I THOUGHT YOU LEFT US FOREVER. WHO WOULD I MAKE FUN OF JIMIN'S LITTLE DICK WITH IF YOU LEFT ME

I let out a laugh as i saw that Jimin was typing.

hotMochi: TAE YOU LITTLE SHIT LET ME GET TO YOUR HOUSE RN

Weirdass: OK BYE KOOKIE I LOVE YOU OK DO COME TO MY FUNERAL, YOU WERE MY BEST FRIEND NOTHING CAN CHANGE THAT BYE

With that Taehyung left the chat, i could only imagine them fighting then end up making out. Yes that is definitely what will happen.Since i had nothing left to do, i thought of watching that CD the health counselor had given me at the hospital. Still not sure about it, i put the CD in my laptop and starting watching it.

Hoseok's POV

It was lunch time right now, and i could not stop worrying about Jungkook. It had been a while since i had left him unattended and i honestly regret it but university requires my attention too, if i had to achieve my dream. "Hoseok, Hoseok, JUNG HOSEOK!" Seokjin hyung yelled my name as he flicked my forehead. 

"Ouch hyung! That hurts." i cried out in pain, rubbing the red spot on my head. "I had no other way to get you to pay attention." he told me as he munched down his food. "Anyway, what were you saying?" i asked him. "I was asking you why are you so lost recently. You never answer my texts or calls anymore, i am worried." he asked with concern. I felt guilty now i had been avoiding my best friend, someone who i always told everything to.

"Remember the kid i told you about the one that lives next door." i started, "Ahh, yes, poor thing no one deserves to witness such an unfortunate event." I nodded my head in agreement.Then i proceeded to tell him all that happened over the past few weeks of vacation, even telling him the part where i met the man i neglected the most but obviously leaving out the part of him being a rapist.

"You seem rather attached to him."he said smiling smugly at me, "You are sure that he's only someone you want to help because you share the same experience?" he smirked, "W-well yeah i mean, what are you trying to suggest?"i stuttered, "Well if it was just a young friend who you wanted to take care of you wouldn't feel the need to spend all the time with them, and worry sick about him when you are at the university." he finished poking my chest before turning back to his food, eyes still on me. "I-isn't that what friends are supposed to do? i countered. "friends are not supposed to sleep next to each other,hold hands and sit on each other's laps. Heck, you didn't even come help me up when i fell down and fractured my fingers." he said huffing at the memory. 

"It was not my fault that you were so much of a scaredy cat that you fell and landed on your fingers, cracking them while taking a shower,just so i called out your name."i laughed at the memory. Just wen he was about to answer back, i realized it was time for our next class. I got up to the class with Jin hyung mumbling cures at  me as he trailed behind.

I was finally done for the day. I got into my car, and my phone rang. Jungkook's name flashed up, and a smile instantly crept onto my face. "You know you need to stop denying the fact and accept it." I forgot i had to drop him off, i did not quiet get what he said but i did not care right now honestly. "Hey hyung."Jungkook spoke when i answered the call."Hi, why did you call? i just got free. Did something happen? Are you okay?" i questioned.

I heard him laugh on the other side of the line. "Nothing happened hyung,i am fine." I sighed in relief. "I just wanted to know when you are coming." he whispered and i could hardly make out what he said. "I just have to drop a friend off-" "Yeah that is what i have earned myself all these years, feels great to be 'just a friend.''" Rolling my eyes at hyung's childish behavior i continued. "Do you need anything?" i asked. "Oh,umm, that was the reason why i called you actually." i could tell he was blushing. I laughed softly at his cute answer, "What would you like?"after a few moments he answered,"Chinese. I feel like having it." "Okay,i will be there as soon as i drop my annoying hyung off."i answered earning a smack from Jin hyung.

"Oh okay, I will wait, this child is rather hungry these days" he ended the call. Jungkook was finally accepting it. I could tell i was grinning like an idiot as i was driving. It made me extremely happy to see Jungkook finally accepting the baby. "Lovesick" Jin hyung muttered under his breath.
