You slowly took your lips off of Mark's afraid that you'd come on too strong or done something wrong, you looked up at him timidly through your eyelashes. "I take it you agree then?" Mark chucked at you, placing his hand on your cheek and rubbing your skin with his thumb, "I think I'd like to take it slow with you" you replied, if Mark was this romantic normally then you definitely wanted to see more of it.
"I like you Y/N, I really do" he said kissing the top of your head, "And I want to do this right" he smiled at you, you were completely speechless at how emotional he was being right now, it was the exact opposite of the guy you first met. You liked this new side of Mark that he was showing you.
The weekend flew by and soon it was time to go back to lectures again. You were dreading Monday, everyone hates Monday's but it is even worse when you have a lecture at 8am on History. It was times like these when you questioned your choice in subject, it was interesting when you learned about a major time event like World War Two or how the Greek's had a God for everything, even worms. But learning 100 years of Russian History when absolutely nothing of value happens really started to grind on your patience.
Although, if you hadn't picked History as your chosen degree you would never have met Mark. You were the happiest you had been in years, and you never wanted this feeling to end.
Your train of thought was burst when your alarm clock buzzed at you to wake up, you made an audible groan and picked up your phone and tapped the big orange symbol that said 'Snooze'. You smacked your head back onto the pillow, fully aware that if you let yourself fall asleep again you would most probably be late for lecture.
You were just about to fall asleep again when that annoying buzzing started up again, you groaned even louder this time and repeated your actions from before. Keeping one eye closed and squinting the other, you picked up your phone but you were surprised when you weren't greeted by your normal alarm screen; in it's place was the incoming call sign.
Swiping your finger to the right, you answered the phone "Hello?" you asked, voice full of sleep. "Don't tell me you've only just woken up?" a deep voice chuckled on the other end, "Ever heard of beauty sleep? I very much need mine" you joked, your voice still an octave lower than it should be. "Oh shush" Mark replied "You're the most beautiful girl in the world", you couldn't help but smile at his kind words.
"You have my attention" you laughed, "Anyway, I just wanted to know: coffee or hot chocolate?" Mark said, changing the subject. You mentally raised an eyebrow, still not awake enough to physically bring your furry eye guards to life, "Why?" you questioned him, drawing out the 'y' at the end to ensure that he knew you were suspicious of him. "Don't ask why, just answer the question" he said as though he was in a rush. "Tough, I am asking why, so tell me why" you teased him, a smile properly stretched across your mouth.
"You dare question me? You dare question the Mark Fishbach?!" he jokingly shouted. Before you could sass him back he continued "Quick! I need to know now!", you ummed at his words but then he started to count you down "5, 4, 3, 2" panic set in and you just shouted back "Coffee!". "Thanks, that's all I wanted to know" you could hear the smile on his face, "See you in class, beautiful" and with that he hung up the phone.
You definitely wasn't getting back to sleep now.
