When my mother arrived she was surprised to see how big I had gotten. Jayson hadn't met my dad because he was never home, but he had met my mom. I gladly introduced them and they clicked instantly. Me and my mom went into the living room to talk and Jayson and my dad had went into the kitchen to start dinner. While me and my mom were talking my dad and Jayson went called us in the kitchen and boy did they sound angry. "What's wrong with yall?" "Didn't I tell you last night to put these dishes up?" 'Well actually no you were mad at me." "And why did you make this man angry?" My dad asked. "Why is it any of your business daddy ?" "Because it is if he asked you a fucking question and as a matter of fact cook us dinner we deserve a break and time to rest since you have an attitude. " "Baby why are yall ganging up on Kandie." My mom said and before I knew it my dad had snapped and was beating her. I yelled for him to stop, but he wouldn't. Jayson grabbed my dad off of her and took him outside to yell at him. I knew my dad was abusive but not only once did I think he would abuse her for asking a question. I was shocked and as I helped my mom clean herself up all I could think about was why. I knew my mom and dad had been going through but damn I didn't think it was this bad.
