Chapter 5 - True Loves First Kiss?

Carlos POV: I looked at Mal shocked then I went and sat beside her.

"Are you serious?" I asked her.

"Yes." Mal said as she slightly looked up and looked at me.

"Mal?" I said.

"Yes?" Mal said.

"I like you too." I said looking deep into her eyes as a tiny smile appeared on her face.

"Really?" She asked smiling a tiny bit.

"Yes." I said smiling.

"Well I wish I had known that sooner cause now I'm with Ben and hap-" Mal got cut off by my lips crashing onto hers.

Mal was in shock as I moved back I just saw it in her eyes.

"Sorry." I said looking down.

"No its fine Carlos." Mal said as I looked up at her.

"Dump Ben." I said.

"What?" Mal asked as she looked at me in confusion.

"Dump Ben and be with me." I said trying to convince her to do it.

"I don't know Carlos." Mal replied.

"Or you can cheat on him." I said.

"I...I...can't I love him." Mal replied.

"Okay, then what do you wanna do?" I asked.

"I don't  know." Mal replied. "I do love him Carlos." She continued.

"I know." I said reluctantly accepting that fact.

"But you are sweet." Mal said making me smile.

"Thanks." I replied with a smile.

"Of course but I can't cheat or leave Ben." Mal said.

"I know." I said with a sigh.

-The Next Day-

I woke up and looked over and Mal was asleep in Jay's bed after last night's conversation we remained quiet for the rest of the night and eventually fell asleep.

I wish she'd leave Ben for me but I know that'll never happen but a guy can always hope.

I got up out of my bed and went into the bathroom and changed into my usual clothes then I left as Mal was still asleep in Jay's bed.

I walked out of my dorm and headed down the hall when Ben walked up to me.

"Hey Carlos." Ben said as he looked at me.

"Hi Ben." I said looking back at him.

"Have you seen Mal?" He asked.

"Nope sorry." I said lying obviously.

Ben sighed. "Alright well if you see her please tell her to call me." He said.

"Will do Ben." I said as I walked away.

I walked down the hall and headed down the stairs and went outside.

Mals POV: I woke up in Jay's bed tired as I only got a couple hours of sleep after Carlos and I's talk last night I couldn't sleep.

My phone started to ring and I looked and it was Ben. I reluctantly answered.

"Hey Ben." I said.

"Hey Mal are you okay?" Ben asked sounding concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said simply but lying.

"Mal you disappeared last night was it cause of the proposal?" Ben asked.

I knew he was gonna bring it up.

"No Ben." I said lying again.

"Are you sure?" Ben asked as it was starting to annoy me.

"Yes Ben." I said hoping that he'd realize that I didn't wanna talk anymore.

"Alright, Mal. I'll talk to you later?" Ben asked.

"Maybe," I said. "Well bye Benny Boo." I continued before hanging up.

I love him but I don't wanna talk about the proposal at all today but I do wanna talk to Carlos.

I went into my contacts and hit Carlos number then put the phone by my ear as I waited for him to answer.

"Hey Mal." Carlos said.

"Hey Carlos listen um I don't know if we will ever be together I love Ben a lot." I said truthfully knowing it would hurt him.

"Oh." Was all Carlos could say.

"Sorry.." I said knowing I probably just broke him.

"Its fine." Carlos replied. "Well bye." Carlos said before hanging up.

I placed my phone down and sighed.
