Carlos POV: I'm walking alongside Jay as we are going over a bridge and as he's teasing girls like always.
"Listen um Jay." I say nervously.
"Yeah man?" Jay looks at me.
"How would you ask someone out...like on a date?" I asked still nervous.
Jay looked at me for a moment then I think it hit him why I was asking that.
"You can't ask her out man she's with Ben and happy." Jay said as he put his hand on my shoulder.
"I know...but let's say they break up how should I ask her?" I asked hoping that Jay would realize that I'm not gonna drop this topic.
"Look we'll cross that bridge if we get to it okay?" He said looking at me trying to end the conversation.
"But hypothetically let's say they break up how should I ask her?" I ask refusing to let this conversation end.
"Carlos listen man." Jay said looking at me with his hand on my shoulder still. "I'll tell you what you gotta do....you gotta just....look like me." Jay said with a smartass smirk as he took his hand off my shoulder.
"Oh ha ha." I said rolling my eyes.
"What it's true." Jay said laughing.
"Jay come on." I said really trying to get an answer from him.
"Look man we'll cross that bridge if we get to it." Jay said looking at me still. "But until then just drop it." Jay said getting obviously annoyed by me.
"Fine." I replied reluctantly.
Jay and I kept walking until we got stopped by Jane.
"Hey Carlos. Hey Jay." She said sounding like she was in a bit of a rush. "Have either of you seen Mal? I need to ask her a few things." Jane said quickly.
"I haven't what about you Jay?" I asked looking at him.
"Nope." Jay simply said.
"Okay well bye." Jane said quickly as she walked off fast.
I rolled my eyes as Jay and I entered auradon prep.
"Look man I'll see ya later I gotta go to the dorm." Jay said.
"Alright see ya."I replied.
Jay walked off and I headed to the tourney feild.
Mals POV: I'm in my dorm drawing when I hear a knock on my door. I get up and go and open the door and I see Ben and I instantly smile.
"Ben!" I said with a huge smile as he laughed.
"Hey Mal." Ben replied smiling as he finished laughing.
"So let me guess you have another surprise for me?" I asked.
"No not today. Remember that's every other day you know? The even days?" Ben said.
"Oh right." I replied feeling a bit stupid. "So then why are you here?" I asked.
"I've got an hour off from doing my king stuff so I wanted to spend it with you. May I come in?" Ben asked politely with a smile.
"Of course." I said smiling and moving out of the way as he walked in.
Ben went in and sat down on my bed and I sat beside him and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Listen Mal I wanted to say thank you." Ben said out of nowhere.
"For what?" I said moving my head off his shoulder and facing him as he faced me.
"Well I know you've been under a lot of stress with everything that's been going on and I was thank you for sticking with me through it.
"Oh...you're welcome." I replied smiling.
"You're honestly the most amazing girl in the world." Ben said with a smile making me blush.
"Aww thanks and you're the most amazing guy in the world." I replied with a smile.
Ben looked at me deep in my eyes and kissed my lips and I kissed back then he broke the kiss.
-A few hours later-
Carlos POV: I keep looking through my files on my laptop when my door opens and closes and I look up and see Mal.
"Uh hey Mal." I said looking at her.
"Yeah hi." Mal said as she came and sat down on a chair in my dorm.
"You okay girl?" I asked looking at her.
"No I'm not Carlos. I feel like everyone is putting pressure on me!" Mal exclaimed.
"What about Ben?" I asked.
"He's the only one that hasn't put pressure on me!" Mal exclaimed again.
"What about me?" I asked.
"You haven't either but I meant like all the royal people here." Mal said.
"Oh." I said starting to understand.
"Yeah." Mal responded.
"Well why are you here?" I asked.
"Cause Evie is with Doug right now and Jay is to busy teasing girls." Mal said looking at me.
"Oh okay." I responded. "So you wanna just hang out here?" I asked.
"Sure." Mal said.
"So what do you wanna do?" I asked.
"I have no idea." Mal said with a weird look in her eyes.
"Are you okay? You have a weird look in your eyes." I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." Mal replied.
