Don't Leave Me

Chapter 1

     First day of school, what do I wear what do I wear what do I wear? I thought to myself, hmph lets just go with the off shoulder turtle neck! I walked to the bathroom noticing how dark it was, it was only 5:00 a.m.

  I brushed my teeth, and washed my face. It's Monday...lazy Monday I'm just going to put my hair in a messy bun. I looked in the mirror with left over water drops dripping down my chin into the sink.

   "I need foundation" I said quietly to myself. I dabbed the foundation I had put on a napkin onto my face with a sponge from one of those makeup stores.

   I rapidly started brushing my eyelashes with the mascara applier. I put some dark red lipstick on and used a cue tip to wipe off the excess lipstick.

    "Shoot I forgot eyeliner" I said then I struggled for 2 minutes just putting it on.  I finally got out of the bathroom, and checked my phone.

   Notification: snapchat. I looked at the notification and I saw Rachel with some guy and read: "I think I love him❤️❤️"I sighed and put my phone on the couch then went on the computer and watched some youtube.

   I grabbed my phone and put it in my bag then headed out the door. I drove to school in my truck, I just got it. I turned the heat on and the radio. "With you in the middle..." I love the song Middle. I felt some pain in my stomach and it went away.

  I arrived to my school, stupid, horrible, boring SCHOOL. I checked my phone and saw Cody was calling me, he was a close friend of mine.

   "Hello?" I heard some mumbling then silence. "Oh hi Grace where are you?" "Oh... in the parking lot why?" "Cause I see you haha." I looked down then saw him in his car biting his lip. I smiled then got out of my truck with my bag.

  I hugged him as he got out of the car, his hair slicked up in a cute style, he held my waist as I hugged him. We didn't have a secret relation ship we just stayed friends.

   I looked him in his light green eyes, as they sparkled and looked into mine. "So how's you girlfriend?" I asked him, he rubbed his neck and said "she's doing good."

  "Lets go to class." He insisted I said "ok" I looked at him from the side of my eye, and pushed him in a friendly way. He pushed me back, he tripped on the curve and so did I. He fell right on me, I felt very awkward. His face turned red as if he was blushing really hard, he grinned and got up.

 

  He lended his hand to me and I grabbed it then he pulled me back up, and hugged me. "You're my best friend."He said with a smile spread across his face. I looked up at him and smirked. "You'll always be my best friend." I replied.

It was first period, I went to math. I looked around at everyone, as the teacher said "lets start off with names" he pointed at a kid in the far left corner and the kid said his name "Tony Sherones." Me and Claire giggled, and started doodling. Soon Mr. Grouf pointed at me, "I said, it's kinda rude to point at people..." everyone laughed.

He smiled and said "young lady may we know your name? Is that better?" I said yes. We all loved Mr. Grouf he was nice. Unlike Mrs. Jeroly she was like a mean old lady that tought French. Im surprised she was even married.

ANYWAYS, the rest of math wasn't even math it was just getting to know people. Amanda "the mean girl" started teasing some guy he got so mad he yelled at her and ran to the office.

We were all sorta shocked since he was a nice and quite guy. I starred out the window and looked at a cat walking around the street.

I almost fell asleep, then BOOM the bell rang. Everyone started chattering and then we all ran out the door. Cody acted weird so I went to check on him, anyways we were on break.

  "Hey" I said going to sit next to him. "hi Grace." He said in a depressing voice. "Is e-everything o-ok?" I said stuttering. "Well not really." He said. "Why-whats wrong?" I asked.

   "Amanda cheated on me." He said sadly.  "Oh jeez" I said in shock. After a bunch of awkward silence I said "everything should be ok." "No it won't" he said harshly.

   "Cmon lets go outside and talk." I said, we went outside Cody took my hand and took me somewhere, where no people were.

      He sat against the wall with a couple tears dripping down his face. "She was everything to me." He said. I looked down kinda sad.

   "D-don't cry p-please." I said. "I'm sorry Grace It's just hard." "Hey, how about you come to my house after school today." His eyes focused on me and then he looked away, "alright" he replied as he kicked a pebble.

I warmly smiled at him, he smirked at me, his beautiful green eyes contacting mine. He said sincerely, "you're the reason I'm happy." I looked at him, as I blushed.

He chuckled under his breath, and looked at me from the side of his eye. I laughed and leaned on his shoulder. I said "lets get back inside so we aren't late for 3rd period." He nodded and we walked in.

  As I sat down I felt someones hands cover my hands..."guess who it is."  I heard a voice...
