Don't Leave Me

Chapter 2

....I looked as the hands went off of my face and saw my ex... MY EX.! I was angry he had to do this... I grunted and said "go away, I don't need you here." "Well someone is mad..." he said and smirked, while getting back to his seat. He sat by his side chick. I looked back at them while he was flirtatiously looking at her and smirking. But did I give a damn? No.

    We finished the second period which was english, and went to third period. This period was free so we could do anything. I went to the library with Cody, he looked down.

He glanced at me and smiled, "oh shoot" I murmured under my breath. As I looked in the library my ex and his new "girl" were sitting side by side.

"What is it?" Cody asked. "Oh nothing" I replied looking out the window.

I walked with him closer to the library, with my backpack adjuster dangling at my ankle as I held it by its strap.

    Cody raised one of his eyebrows at me, and then also looked in the library and saw what I was confused about.

   He smirked and laughed he whispered "you still have feelings for that guy? After he broke your heart for another girl? Ha."

  I hit him on the arm. "Ow" he complained while looking deadly at me until he almost ran into the door.

   I blurted out laughing, until someone shushed me and I shot her a deadly look and continued to the door.

   He waited at the door and purposely acted like a gentlemen and smirked "ladies first."

    I starred into his beautiful eyes as they sparkled, "snap out of it" I slurred under my breath.

   Cody shot me a confused look and chuckled as he walked behind me.

   It was very quite in the library, but a different kind of quite. It was deadly quite until of course I saw my ex (his name is   Landen) and his girl laughing and I rolled my eyes at them and trotted away from them as far as I could with Cody.

  Landen came to our table with his girlfriend. They were laughing, and I had enough. "Go the hell away and live your own damn life." I snickered, Landen had an expression of shock on his face while his girlfriend gave me a dirty look.

   Cody raised his eyebrows and agreed "are you deaf?" He challenged. "She said go the hell away!" He sneered.

    I smirked and flipped his girlfriend off. "Go!" I glared at them. Landen had a dumb look on his face and slowly walked away with his girlfriend.

   "What the h-" Cody got cut off by the bell. We walked to lunch, like usual it was me , Cody, Rachel, Claire, and some other people we hang out with.

   Kylie one of my other best friends that I used to hang out with came up to our table. "Listen..." she started "I didn't mean for you and Landen to break up..." she explained "we all know the truth Kylie you're a troubled liar!" I snapped.

   "But-" "You're his ex after me! This happened two darn years ago its done okay? You're just doing this cause you're depressed he has a new girlfriend!"

  I could feel everyone looking at me but I didn't care, I was so upset I was numb. I felt Cody's warm hand touch mine, and looked me in the eye sincerely and smiled warmly "Hey don't be upset, everyone knows the truth, and if someone comes up to you to talk about this, make sure to call me so I can punch him in the face."He said with expression.

   It was now after school after two other boring periods. I saw Cody at a park with some girl, she looked pretty and glanced at me.

    My heart sank, I felt a feeling of confusion, jealousy, sadness. "I better get back home" I said quietly and the girl next to him twirling her long, blonde hair around.

  Cody starred at me and said "Hey Grace! I want you to meet..." "Your new girlfriend?" I asked getting scared of what just came out of my mouth.

  "What?! No! Haha she is my cousin." He glared at me with confusion in his eyes. "Oh. Sorry." I said relieved. He smirked and walked towards me, and put his arm around my neck.

   I starred into his eyes "Yeah.. I don't wanna ruin anything I'm going to do my homework at home." His cousin said awkwardly.

   "Right, bye." Cody said more comfortable. He walked me to a bench in the park and we sat there, he hugged me so tight, I hugged him back, not forced.

  "Listen..." he started "I gotta tell you something I've been meaning to tell you since the day I saw you." "I-I I really like you." He said sincerely while I blushed so hard.

   "I hope it didn't ruin what we had." He said while slowly walking towards his house. I ran after him "wait!" I yelled he stopped, and turned around smiling at me. I starred into his sparkling eyes, for like a minute "need to tell me something?"

   He asked smirking. Jeez I loved almost everything about him.
