"Yeah...." I trailed off. "You d-didn't ruin anything" I smiled and looked up to him, he had an amazing jaw line. He ran his hand through his dark brown hair.

"Good, cause I couldn't live without you by my side." He smirked and went to kiss me his lips brushed againts mine and he was like the best kisser any girl would dream of.

I could feel myself blushing while we kissed it was one of the longest I was so shocked, I never expected this. "Eh em" I heard a voice. Me and Cody froze then faced the voice, it was his cousin again.

"See if I stayed I would of ruined something" she smirked. I blushed and so did Cody "why did you come back?!" Cody scolded her.

"Omg sorry, I forgot my phone" she said and rolled her eyes, while she snatched her phone from the table.

We both starred at her coldly until she left. I looked up at Cody and smiled warmly he chuckled and explained "Yeah thats my cousin alright very nosy and alert."

I smirked and starred at the floor feeling him eyeing me slowly, I felt myself shaking, then felt his warm hand go on mine. "There's nothing you should be scarred of I know im hot and all..." he trailed off and smirked.

I playfully hit his arm and flinched as he looked as if he was going to hit me also, instead he hugged me tight, with my cheek against his hard chest.

"I will never leave you." Cody assured I smiled and peeked up at him and fell in his arms, I was falling asleep... so he carried me home.

*knock* my mom opened the door "oh hello Cody nice to see you, and you've- you have- you've g-got my daughter in your arms." My mom said in shock.

"Yeah she fell asleep in my arms" Cody chuckled. "Aww what a gentlemen thanks for bringing her home!" My mom smiled warmly at him as I began to wake up.

"Mom?" I said in confusion and noticed I was in Cody's arms have I forgotten everything?! Cody put me down and glanced at me, then my mom.

"Well I guess I should get go-" Cody started then I cut him off "Noooo stay please" I whined. My mom asked "would you like to join us for dinner?"

Cody smiled "of course I would!" I yawned as Cody put his arms around my shoulders and led me inside. The dinning room was set up neatly and some lasagna was on the middle and some salad.

Also some mashed potatoes and gravy along with some coleslaw. Cody pulled out a chair for me as I sat on it, and he pushed me in. My mom looked at him and smiled.

"So how was the first day of school?" My mom asked trying to spark some conversation. "Good, although..." Cody trailed off "yes?" My mom asked expecting an answer.

"I broke up with my girlfriend..." Cody said coldly. "Oh I'm so sorry" my mom started. I starred at her while I slowly ate my food.

After some silence my mom said "well Gracie here, will totally help you, I'm sure of it, she is comfortable to be around" my mom smiled lightly.

"Yeah, she is great I'm so happy to be her boy- best friend..." Cody said almost going to say boyfriend. "I'm flattered" I lectured and leaned into Cody's chest looking up at him.

"Grace you look tired maybe you should get some sleep" Cody exclaimed. "No I want to be with you!" I whined. "Are you guys done with your food?" My mom interrupted.

"Yeah.." Cody replied handing over my plate and his plate. "Well I'm going to do some house chores, feel free to stay as long as you want Cody." My mom quickly shot him a wink and he chuckled.
