In the morning, every horse had gathered at the meeting trees, where Raja and Dove were buried outside next to a patch of white flowers. Rogue stood near her son's grave while Picasso stood next to Dove's grave.

Rogue was neatly groomed by Jaguar and her mane was flowing neatly down her neck. She wore a white flower behind her ear. She forced her lip to stop quivering  with sadness and tried to focus on what Taka had told her the night before.

Once all the herds settled down a bright horse appeared between the burials, she had long sparkling wings. It was Star, the leader of StarHerd. She never came to anything like this, but this story was special.

"Welcome all horses and herds, today we are gathered here to listen of the story of Dove and Raja." She began telling the story, tears and yowls of misery was all that any horse could hear, except Star's voice.

Star finished the story and signaled Picasso and Rogue stepped forward. They faced each their with a hard gaze. "Now, you see what your war has come too. These poor horses died in your hooves. I susgest you end this once and for all, and peace will return to the forest." Star opened her grand wings and lifted her head.

Picasso and Rogue touched noses, a sign of agreement and peace. They stepped back and let everyone say their final goodbyes. Once it was all finished, Star dispersed and the horses went back to what they would usually do.

As Rogue was walking with Picasso she thought about her true love still being alive.  "Picasso, Jag, I have something to do." She whickered and cantered away near the two-leg place where she had once found her father.

It was completely empty and she was starting to give up hope. She searched around,no horse could survive here. She stopped for a rest under a large oak tree and caught her breath.

"Rogue? Is that you?" A familiar voice asked.

Rogue shot around and saw a familiar dark bay coat. Her eyes widened as she shook her head in disbelief. She galloped up to Apollo and hugged him tight, he hugged back. Tears started to build in her eyes and she couldn't hold them back anymore.

"I've missed you so much." She exclaimed, nuzzling him.

"Me too, I wanted to return so bad, but you'd kill me." He sighed and took in her scent. "Taka kept me well hidden." He finally said.

Rogue never wanted to let go of him, but he was a bit uncomfortable. "What happened? I feel like I've missed a lot." He paused, hesitating to ask. "How's our foal?"

Rogue took a deep breath in, she explained everything. The war, Raja and Dove, and Picasso. "Wow, life's been tough." He smiled and they both started to head back to the herd lands.

Picasso and Jaguar seemed the most surprised when Apollo and Rogue came through he entrance. Their heads were high and ears perked.

"Welcome home, Apollo." Picasso welcomed with a dip of his head. Apollo nodded thankfully and gave Jaguar a warm hello.

Jaguar pulled Rogue aside, "What is he doing here?" He asked sternly, his brown eyes full of anger.

"Jag, I'm sorry but I need him." Rogue lashed her tail and walked away, joining the party that was happening with Apollo. Jaguar sighed and hung his head. "Don't make me rise the storm again." He threatened to himself then smiled contemptuously.

"It's time for Rogue to come to her end." Jaguar pinned his ears and observed her smiling away with Apollo.
