"Gather the forces, we're going to take the forest once and for all." Rogue ordered her horses, all of them yelling in agreement. "Picasso must die." Rogue informed all of them, she paused adding silently. "Raja going down with him."

Jaguar led the horses out of the mountains and down to StreamHerd territory. Rogue walked next to him, thirsty for bloodshed. Jaguar looked at her over his shoulder, his gaze filled with disapproval. Rogue was confused by his gaze, "are you not excited about the death of Picasso?"

Jag gave a slight shake of his head. "Rogue, he's your son. Prince was a bad influence for you, your beautiful and I feel like you would make an excellent leader of a herd but why of evil?"

Rogue thought about his words, he cantered ahead, leaving herself to think about the words. She gave herself a deathly smile, I will not leave Prince to be forgotten. She thought.

"Picasso...Rogue and her horses are on the horizon. Their hooves sharp ready to attack." A tired soldier informed, his breathing ragged like a mountain.

Picasso gathered his soldiers and met Rogue near a deep gorge that any horse could fall into. "Dove, I-" Raja began, trying to find his words. "I love you."

Dove looked up at him, her warm eyes glistening in the bright sun. Was this the last time he would see her delicate eyes, and hear her lovely voice that made all the birds jealous?

"I truly, deeply love you." Raja added, his eyes reflecting into hers. "I wanted to tell you that before I left." He informed, the sadness clinging to his heart like a thorn in your fur.

"I love you too." She nuzzled him, her sweet scent filling Raja with hope.

The horses gathered near the gorge, Picasso facing Rogue proudly. The other herds didn't know about this battle, it was only between StreamHerd and RogueHerd.

"This is your end Picasso, any last words?"Rogue asked, bitterness filled her voice.

"No Rogue, this isn't between you and I. This is between you and your son." As Picasso said that Raja stepped forward. His dark mane buffeting in the light blow of wind. Rogue's mouth was agape but when she saw her brave son she shut it.

"I'm sorry mother, but we have to put an end to this." He nickered sternly, lashing his tail to the side.

"Darling, you could have so much power. It would be peaceful for once." She walked towards him, starting to circle around.

"You're confusing peace with terror." Raja's brown eyes threatened Rogue. I have to do this, he kept telling himself. He glanced at Dove, gave a final smile and lunged at Rogue.

Dove had a weird feeling when Rogue had first arrived, it was a warm sensation. Almost as if everyone was going to make it out alive. There is still good in her, I know it. A familiar yet unknown voice rang in her head. It was if someone were telling her Rogue wasn't as bad as she seemed.

Dove took in a sharp breath. Should I tell Picasso? She thought, watching Raja and Rogue talk to each other like they didn't know each other.

Dove was walking towards the leader when she felt a pair of eyes burn through her fur, it was Raja's stunning bright brown eyes. He gave a weak smile then lunged at Rogue. Horses charged into battle, fighting fiercely with one another.

I'm too late.
