"WHAT DO YOU mean he's avoiding you?" Spencer asked, sitting upside down on the couch in the Gryffindor common room. The moonlight was shining dully through the big windows that surrounded the common room as Spencer, Wren, George, and Hermione sat together, while Henry studied in the library.
"I mean, he's avoiding me. How many ways are they to say that?" George replied, "Whenever I try to talk to him, he makes up some excuse and then he's gone." He finished, obviously annoyed.
"Did you do anything to upset him?"
"How could I if he hasn't spoken more than a few words to me in a week?" George asked.
"You could just catch up to him when he walks away. It wouldn't take you that long." Spencer said.
"I don't know. Uhm, wait! Maybe you could just, like, knock him out or something, and then talk to him when he wakes up. He'll be too tired to run away." Wren said, smiling at her 'good' plan.
"That's a horrible idea! Wren!" Hermione exclaimed, scolding Wren.
"It might work-" George said.
"No! We are not going to cause him any harm, okay? We can find an easier way to get him to talk." Hermione said, and under her breath she added, "Bloody terrifying, you two are."
"Well then, what's your brilliant plan, Hermione?" George asked, sarcastically.
"Let's spy on him. Let's just see what he's doing and try to figure out why he's avoiding you." Hermione said, putting the rest of the 'plans' to clear shame.
"Well, that's better than mine. Better than Wren's too." Spencer said, causing and arguement between the two.
"I know how to make them shut up." George said to Hermione, then he turned to Spencer and Wren saying, "You two should just shag already, you'd being doing everyone a favor by getting rid of the tension." Both Wren and Spencer's faces drained all color as they quickly sat as far away from each other on the couch.
"Back to spying on Henry, who wants to do it?" Hermione asked.
"Spying is too much work, do I have to?" Spencer asked.
"No, but you cannot tell Henry what we're up to, alright?" Hermione replied.
"Alright." Spencer said as he got up and walked
"So, its just me, Wren, and George?"
"Correct."
"All right then, I hope this works."
"I hope we don't get caught. He definitely won't talk to you then." Wren said, laughing. George glared at her as she got quiet.

Henry got back to common room from the library about fifteen minutes after Wren, Spencer, Hermione, and George had gone to bed, and he was relieved that no one was in the common room when he got back. Unbeknownst to him, George, Wren, and Hermione, were all hiding, watching his every move.
"What's he doing?" Wren whispered.
"Wren, he is literally reading." Hermione replied.
"Oh."
"I think it'd be more effective if we spied on him during the day." Hermione whispered.
"Well, we can't leave now, he'll see us and know we've been spying." Wren said.
"So, we're stuck here 'till he goes to bed?" George asked.
"Yes." She replied.
"Great plan, 'Mione." Wren said.
"Better than yours!" She whispered, harshly.
After about ten minutes, Henry finally went to bed. "Finally!" Wren said, standing. "I thought we were going to die here."
"I'm just glad he didn't fall asleep. He sleeps in common room sometimes, and when he falls asleep, he's not a very heavy sleeper. There's no way we would've been able to get out of here." Hermione said, stretching her legs.
"That hurt my back, is there other ways to spy?" George asking standing up.
"We could follow him. But we would need disguises." Wren said, lighting up.
"No way. I'm not wearing some stupid disguise you come up with." Hermione said.
"Fine, we don't have to wear disguises." Wren replied, glumly.
"But we could follow him." Hermione said.
"Congratulations, Wren. Your first good idea." George said. Wren narrowed her eyes at him as she stepped on his foot while walking passed him to her dormitory.
"You kind of deserved that." Hermione said as she walked by him, following Wren to their dorm.
"Yeah, whatever." He said, walking the other way to his dorm.

Henry woke the next morning, still tired from studying for the Potions test they had coming up. He didn't want to get out of bed, if he didn't have class, he surely wouldn't. However, because of the bustling of the dormitory, he couldn't stand staying for longer than he had to. He got up, got dressed and brushed his teeth, but didn't bother to comb his hair, something that was very common between Henry and Harry.
"What's your rush?" Harry asked, noticing how tired Henry seemed and confused as to why he was ready for classes within five minutes.
"It's so noisy up here." Henry replied as he shrugged, walking out of the dormitory and into the common room where he saw no sign of Wren or Hermione, he usually walked with one of the two to breakfast. "Great." Henry mumbled to himself as he walked out of the common room.
Little did he know, Wren, Hermione, and George were subtly following him as he walked to the Great Hall. Wren argued with Hermione and George saying she felt bad about letting Henry eat breakfast alone.
"Wren! Let's just leave him be! He'll be fine!" Hermione said quietly, and fairly harshly.
"B-But that's- he's only a child! He can't be left unsupervised!" Wren retaliated.
"He's not a child, and he is, technically, supervised!" Hermione replied.
"This isn't going to work. We need to split up."
"Okay, but do I have to spy? It'll look suspicious if none of us are with him. I volunteer." Wren said, raising her hand next to her head.
"Fine." Hermione replied, irritated.
"Yay!" She said, running off to Henry's side. Hermione and George shared an annoyed look.
