Dallas- your boyfriend of nearly 9 months had just broken up with you, and you, being young and stupid, had gone to the nearest bar to forget all your memories of him. You bought a while bottle of some cheap whiskey, downed it all, and started to leave severely drunk. Dallas helped you through a massive hangover, and you started hanging out more.
Darrel- he was taking a rare break, and decided to go eat out at a small diner just inside town. You were his waitress. I think was feeling lucky that night(it was his birthday, you later found out), and written on the check left on the table was a name and the number of a handsome man.
Two-Bit- your friend from work had been seeing Sodapop at the DX just about every ay, and part of the time his goofy buddy was there. She decided to set you up on a blind date, and worked with Soda to get the two of you together. After getting totally lost trying to find a restaurant the both of you had never been to, you just stopped the car and watched the stars for a while.
Johnny- no one knows that Johnny goes to the shelter sometimes. Seeing he puppies helps relieve some of his stress. You work there, and there was a new puppy you had just gotten, a cute little Beagle mix. When Johnny came in Saturday morning, you came around the desk with Joker(he was very playful once you got him to trust people, so you and the coworkers called him Joker). He and Johnny immediately bonded, and you started talking.
Sodapop- you live just outside of town, with your mom, dad, and sister. You and Y/S/N went riding, and decided to stop and get cokes at a cute little DX. Soda, who was working the register, came out to complimemt your horse(manship), and your good looks.
Steve- you had just moved from Kentucky, and had always loved drag races. One night, you got to meet the winner of one such race in Tulsa, a boy whose looks were more beautiful than handsome. He set you up with his buddy Steve, and you decided to give it a try. Turns out you have more than just a love of racing in common.
Ponyboy- you two had never talked before, so when the teacher partnered you up for a project, you were pleasantly surprised to meet a quiet, but somehow still outspoken, young man. You quickly found out you worked well together, and became fast friends.
