"Well if you three know your way around the castle, we should be fine. Just fight them somewhere you know you will succeed," Fell told the group.
They had been trying to find a way to overthrow Dream.
"I can fight as long as it's dark... Once the guards see Dreams is down, they will fight for me again," Nightmare growled.
"If the castle grounds will be bright as long as Dream is there, do you want us to kill him?" Cross questioned, right beside Nightmare in the small circle.
Zoie was in the middle, drawing out the castles many floors. "No, Cross you remain at my side," Nightmare ordered.
"We can start by teleporting into the dungeon, maybe there will be a few guards who insisted to stay loyal?" Zoie suggested.
"Perfect. If there are, you and Fell can go with them to fight Dream," Nightmare told the group.
"What about me?" Chara questioned. "I assume you know the other AUs weaknesses? You will stay with me and Cross."
She appeared to be disappointed but nodded her head. "Once Dreams is down, we can win the battle... Ink will be the hardest part, if he stays and fights that is," Zoie added.
"Seems like a plan," Cross chuckled, Nightmare sneaking his way closer to him. "As long as we work together..."

The group lay in the forest beside the castle. Cross was at Nightmares side, their bodys close enough that they were touching.
Zoie was with Fell and Chara, scanning the castle and seeing the light shining through the halls.
It wasn't candle light... Something else was causing it, and Cross wasn't sure what exactly until Nightmare spoke. "That light is coming from Dreams soul. Once he's gone it will die down to nothing."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Zoie questioned, almost seeming excited about the whole thing. "Aren't you scared?" Chara questioned.
Zoie shook her head. "I'd prefer if you were a little scared, I really need the energy right now..." Nightmare complained.
"As terrified as Chara is, she doesn't feed me enough emotions... Especially since its combined with positive emotions," Nightmare growled, his tenticals flicking with annoyance.
"What? Really? I feel more terrified than anything!" Chara argued, a worried look on her face. "You'll be fine..." Fell purred back.
"Fell. That emotion is what's not helping..." Nightmare sighed before shaking his head. "Nevermind... Lets just go!"
Cross teleported Nightmare inside while Fell teleported Chara and Zoie.
The group appeared back in the dungeon and it didn't take long for a guard to notice them. Cross was quick to knock them out however.
"Zoie, Fell, go get Dream... That guard there, take him with you" Nightmare ordered the two. Fell whispered something to Chara, Zoie openimg the guards cell door.
The guard look surprised but didnt complain. Once free they all left.
Cross looked into the cells. Most were empty except a few. They were loyal knights that would only ever serve the king.
Cross was quick to release them from their cages. "I hope you are all ready to help?" He asked with a small chuckle.
The freed knights cheered, clearly happy to have their king back in the castle with them.
A a wave of loud stomping seemed to echo down the hallway. It must be some guards who heard their cheering.
Cross prepared himself for battle and Nightmare backed up behind him. They may be in one of the darkest places, but thanks to Dream it was still rather bright.
As the first guard made their way down the stairs Cross watched as the knights, led by Chara, charged them. The wall of knights wouldn't last forever so Cross had to kill a few.
He felt adrenalin rush through him and he turned towards Nightmare. Nightmare had a look of determination on his face.
Chara back away as the final enemy guard fell to the ground. She was cut slightly on her arm but it wasn't too deep.
"Fell better get Dreams out of there soon..." She muttered. "Yes, once they do that, Nightmare will be one of the most powerful people here!" A knight called out.
Cross recognized them as Scorch, a fire red demon with deep ocean blue eyes. He was a really good knight.
"I'm pretty sure I'm guarded by the strongest," Nightmare whispered to Cross, causing him to blush again.
A weird feeling strung around in his chest from the compliment. He was unsure of what the feeling was.
"More guards!" Scorch warned, everyone becoming more alert. More guards did in fact appear. They were led by someone.
Dust chuckled as he looked down on the group. "Chara? What stupid mistake is this?" He questioned, looking down on his former acquaintance.
She narrowed her eyes but never answered him. Dust shrugged his shoulders and glared at Cross.
"Hello again..." Dust chuckled. Cross stood his ground, not letting any weakness show. He wouldn't let Dust think any different.
Suddenly, Dusk charge at him, pulling out a dagger. Cross hadn't expected it, and he thought Dust was actually going to get him.
However, right then, the light flickered out.
