Thick lush forest of pine on each side covered my path clearly indicating frequent visits from people in this part of the forest. Anger would be the understatement of what I was feeling under my skin. The predator in me wanted blood. That devious little girl's blood.

The beast didn't understand that she was a baby, it only grasped the truth that she tried to make fool out of me.

So, I ran for about ten minutes, I ran until my eyes caught a white dress in the dark abyss of the night. She has crunched behind a tree merely ten foot away from me. Total of two trees divided us. She didn't know I had seen her, located her because she kept scratching on the bark of the tree she was hiding behind with nervousness.

Staying careful not to make any sound, I went around some trees to baffle her, to make her think she got away, striking her when she least expects it would be fun and made my way behind her. I have to give it to her, whatever she was trying to write with bound hands, it was readable. Since it didn't read my identity, I let her showcase her talent.

I waited for two more minutes, then I didn't.

I raised my knife and thrust it into her undoubting little heart from the back. She jerked, widened her eyes clearly in pain and fell down but I wasn't done. I wanted her blood, I crunched down and plunged the knife again and again into her stomach until the beast inside me was satisfied.

The lifeless body under me oozed blood, careful not to stain my clothes, I stood up, taking the knife with me.

I wanted people to find her dead body. Now that my temper subsided, I could think rationally. The rational thought being, she needed to be found by people so that she could get a proper funeral.

Howls of wolves plucked me out of my train of thoughts. I had to get out of here before I get eaten by wild beasts. I dragged the lifeless girl back to the path I came from and placed her at the side. If anyone traveled by this way, they could clearly see her.

I hasted my way back. I entered Garcia's house through the back door, closed it behind me, grabbing his file, I made my way back to living room, not glancing to the dead bodies in the room past the kitchen, I opened the front door and closed it behind me.

One more down, one more to go.

Past the gate of Garcia's, I shifted knife to my right hand and untucked the gun, placed it into my left one and keeping the file on my right hand.

This is it. My last task but not my last kill.

The feeling of adrenaline followed me.

I didn't have to roam a lot for my next kill. Satisfied with accomplishing half of my task, a little concerned of the lack of remorse I was feeling for killing the Missus and a child, I crossed the road.

But it was for your good. Witnesses are unacceptable. You want to go to jail?

As I was opening the gate of the house, I felt like someone is watching me. A ridiculous thought to be honest. No one in this part of town will be awake at this time, let alone roaming on the deserted roads. But to be certain of my fool proof plan, I gazed around to see the whole road bare.

Sighing in relief I quietly make my way through the gate and knocked the door.

And waited.

A lady in a silky blue nightgown opened the door. Frantic looking, scared.

Target.

"Wha-"

I didn't let her finish. Plunging the dagger in her heart, she shouted like her life dependent on it which actually did but that did not stop me so I withdrew the knife to thrust it again.

And again. And again.

Soundlessly she fell down on the floor on my third thrust, not that it stopped me. Beast in me count the plunges till ten before he let me stop.

Half inside her home, half of her body enjoying the cold soothing breeze.

The witch should not be enjoying the gust of wind even if dead.

I step aside, ignoring the pool of blood stagnant near her body, I stood over her. Taking up her arms, I dragged her inside.

Satisfied, I look around the house, and listen carefully. Not even a small swish.

So, no one is home.

Makes my job easier.

Looking at her face, I feel pleased to complete the task in my hand. I look around to spot a handkerchief on the dining table.

Take that, I dipped it into the pool of blood and on the wall above the settee opposite to the way of the kitchen, I wrote the same line for the second time in the day again.

Errand done, I look around the house which is mirror image of the house of Garcia's. I locate a stack black garbage bags in the kitchen near the oven.

I step inside the kitchen and grab the bag and propelled the documents into it. I pass through the two adjacent doors to the backdoor of the house.

A small shed is what I see first, making my towards it I grab hold of a shovel inside it. And start digging the ground. This family has used the surrounding area of the house as a ground unlike the Garcia's who did gardening.

I dig for around 10 minutes. Good enough, I think.

I grab the rubbish bag and launch it into the waiting ditch. And start filling it with the soil.

Once done, I step and rethink.

Idiot.

I should have buried my bloodied clothes and gloves. Removing my shoes and grabbing it in my hand I enter the house to avoid the crimson foot prints.

It is now too late to bury the other articles here. The chances of me getting caught is being more. So I grab one more rubbish bin from the kitchen counter.

I put the shoes in first, unbuttoning my shirt I thrust that too in the bag. And then the shovel. Carrying the bin, I enter one of the room and from the cupboard I grab one of the shirt.

Too big.

Uncomfortable. And it bothers me.

So shirtless, I leave the house and make my way to Garcia's again. I saw shirts of my sizes upstairs.

Yes, I have disorder to wear clothes of my size.

To make it quick, I run.

Grabbing the shirt from the cupboard, I make my way to the opposite side of the town.

When I am near the forest I see one of the Lakehouse lit like a fucking Christmas and I could hear loud noise of dumb songs.

Idiots.

I pass by the dumb place and once I am in the forest, I start digging again with the shovel inside.

Once done with the task, I make my way through the silent road into abyss.

I am never getting caught and that makes me giddy.
