❖Anna❖

The rest of my shift was very uneventful. The 'Hot and Dangerous Crew', as Christy named them, was the only interesting part of the night.

Once the last people left, we started cleaning and preparing everything for the next day... or well... today.
While closing the door and waiting for Rose to lock up, I looked at my phone. It was 2:30 right now. If I walked fast enough I could be home by 3 and in bed by 3:10. Sighing I conclude that it's going to be a short night once again.
We say our goodbye's to each other and go our separate ways.

7:00. That's what my alarm is telling me. 7:00 time to get up it screams.
I slowly get out of bed and start to get ready for the day. I put on the radio, take a quick shower and start to get dressed. My favourite song starts playing and I dance into the kitchen to make some coffee and breakfast.

It's 8:10 when I run down the stairs of the flat I live in, sending Kaylee a quick text to tell her that I will see her in the bus.
Kaylee is a friend from college. You know, one of those friends you're pretty close with on college grounds, but don't really see outside of it.

Once I step in the bus Kaylee waves at me and I sit down next to her.
"Good morning sunshine." Kaylee says as her usual happy self. "Good morning to you too." I answer with a soft giggle. We talk about everything and nothing on our way to college and walk towards the entrance together.

Kaylee and I are in most clases together, so we talk about out evenings and plans of the day when we are bored for the lessons.

"Dad is having a party tonight for his birthday." Kaylee says while making sure our teacher isn't looking our way. "You should come! Otherwise I'll be all alone and stuck in between all those boring people for an entire evening!" her drama queen comes out and she gives me the biggest puppy eyes she is capable of. Even though I really want to go and have some fun, I know I can't. "I'm sorry Kaylee." I answer and I see her smile fall a little. "I wish I could, but I have to work all evening."
"Can't you switch shifts with someone for once? Or just, call in sick? You are working your butt off there all the time." She tries once again. "I'm sorry but no. They won't like it." I sigh.

I never told her about my life. She doesn't know how hard I need the money. How I can't afford to 'not work' for an evening.

I feel my mood change, and apparently Kaylee notices it as well. "Hey, don't worry about it. I'll survive for an evening. But.... You will have to make it up to me someday." She gives me a wink and starts laughing and I can't help but laugh along with her.
The rest of the college day goes on as usual. I learn things I already knew in English and I have my usual struggles in math.

Once the last lesson finishes, I walk to the library where I see Kaylee waiting for me.
"Hey cupcake." She says with one of her usual big smiles. "I can't stay to long cause of the party. But I can still help you a little with the math homework we got. "Kaylee," I start and give her a small hug. "you are a life safer."

❖Gabriel❖

We are tight a tight group, one big family, even the ones who aren't connected with blood. É tutta la famiglia.

I took over my fathers 'business' when I was 18 years old. I was trained to be a leader since I was little. I knew that the day would come that I would take over his place. But it was always a guess how it would happen.

My second and third in command are my best friend River and my cousin Raphael. We grew up together and know almost everything about each other, which makes it easier to work together.
Then there is Nicolaas, a cousin who always knew about the business, so it was a safe choice to let him join. Plus, we needed a computer genius for some things. And Nico is the first we thought about.
Joel and Aro are the identical twins, my younger brothers. They are very strong together, but also know how to blend in which is a very useful thread.
And lastly there is Eliot, another one of my cousins. He is the youngest of the group and still learning some things, but he has good potential and knows what working means.
