❖Anna❖

The car ride back home was a quite one. It didn't feel uncomfortable though, we where both just lost in our thoughts.
Gabriel's hand rested on my knee, his thumb slowly drawing circles, relaxing me.
But as soon as we walk into the house, the peace was over.

"Anna!" Christy yells as she runs over and crashes me into a big hug.
"Hi Christy."
"Christy, careful." Gabriel jumps in and softly pushes her off me.
"Sorry mate. Couldn't keep her back any longer." Raphael says while stepping forward. "Good to have you back Anna." He pulls Christy back into his arms, a content smile appears on his face.
"It's good to be back."

"Gabe, can we talk?" Raphael asks, nodding towards the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a sec." Gabriel answered before turning to me. "Why don't you and Christy go sit in the living room? You could relax a little and catch up. I'm sure she can't wait to talk to you."
I smile at him and nod.
"When I'll get back, we could watch a movie together." Gabriel kisses me softly and walks off with Raphael.

"You heard your man, let's go sit down." Christy as she pulls me into the living room. "If I let you stand for too long, I'm sure Gabriel would get angry with me." She jokes, even though we both know that she is probably right.

We sit down on the couch and Christy turns her body in a way, that she is facing me, one arm hanging over the back of the couch, the other in her lap.
"How are you?" She asks. "What did the doctor say?"
"One broken rib, two bruised ones, a bruised shoulder blade, a broken finger tip and a couple of cuts and bruises." I sum up. "Don't worry, I'll live. Plus, it looks like Gabriel won't let me do anything any time soon. So everything will heal in no time."
"He is just worried about you Anna. The guy really cares about you. I might have called these people dark in the past. But these boys all have a big heart."
"And one of those hearts belongs to you." I say teasingly.
"And one is yours." She answers with a smile.

"Honestly, the thought of him, looking for me, helped me to keep hope of getting out of there. Ever since I met him, and you, my life has gotten better. I needed to get out of there and get back to this. To you guys."
Christy looks as me with tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry Anna. If I had taken out the trash that evening then you wouldn't have been taken. You wouldn't have gotten hurt."
"Christy, you can't blame yourself for what happened that evening."
"But it's true Anna. Raphael told me that evening to look after you before they left. They knew something was about to happen. And yet, I just let you walk out all on your own. If I would have"
"If you would have walked out," I interrupted her, "they would have hurt you. I wasn't alone out there Christy. Sam was there too. And I'm sure you've seen what happened to him. The poor guy is still not recovered from it.
That I was taken is not your fault. I'm just glad they didn't hurt you too."

Christy jumps up and wraps her arms tightly around me. "I'm so happy you're back here, safe and sound."
"Me too Christy, but you're slightly hurting me."
"O god! I'm so sorry." She exclaims as she quickly let's go of me.

"Will you tell me what happened there?" Christy suddenly asks.
I shrug, not feeling like talking about it at all.
"It's okay." She says. "if you ever do want to talk about it, I'm here."
"I know... thank you." I answer and quickly change the subject "How about we start to watch that movie Gabriel was talking about. They guys can join us later."
Christy nods and jumps up to pick a movie. "Let's watch something extra girly, just to make them pay for leaving us waiting."

❖Gabriel❖

"What did you want to talk about?" I ask Raphael ones we enter the kitchen and I'm sure that the girls can't hear us anymore.
"Your father is walking around in the warehouse like he owns the place again. Eliot just texted me, saying that your father has pulled aside the twins and was looking very angry."
"He is always angry." I answer as I pull out my phone to text Aro, telling him to keep dad busy until I've gotten to the warehouse.
"I can go over. See what's going on." Raphael offers. But I decline.
"No, it's fine. I'm going there myself. I need you to stay here and watch over the girls."
"You sure?"
"Yeah. He's my father, my problem. With a little luck he'll listen to me."
"A little luck? Since when does your father listen to anyone?"

We walk into the living room where Christy and Anna are laying on the couch, watching a movie.
I lean over the back of the couch and quickly kiss Anna's cheek, earning a sweet smile from her. "I have to go to the warehouse to check something. I won't be long angel." I promise. "Raphael will stay here with you guys, so you will be completely safe."
"Just hurry back." She answers and kisses me goodbye.

"Where are my brothers?" I ask as I step into the hall of our warehouse.
"Your father took them upstairs." River says as he walks up to me. "Do you need me to come with you?"
"No thanks. I can handle him. You should clean that blood off before you do anything else."
River looks down at his shirt and a wicked grin comes on his lips. "It isn't my blood."
"Just make sure you're clean before you go home." I laugh and walk off, making my way upstairs.

"Why does no one understand what will happen if he keeps going on like this?!" I hear my father yell from one of the rooms.
I quickly make my way over to see what's happening, but before I enter the room, I hear Aro answer. "Because we all trust him. After you left, this gang, not even just this gang the whole of Il Capello was a mess."
"Gabriel regained the trust from the man that you had lost father." Joel continues. "He rebuild this place, got everyone back under his control, got all the weak spots out, cut out the traitors AND took care of us."
"No matter what you will say about this place."
"Gabriel will always be our leader and everyone will exactly do as he tells them to do."
"Because we all trust him. And we will all give our lives for him."

I feel pride swell up in me a I hear my brothers speak about me like this. I knew that most of my man would follow me wherever I go. But I never heard my brothers talk in such way.
I decide that my brothers are more than capable of handling my father and turn around. Maybe I should check on our new guest in the cellar.

The cellars are dark and smell of blood. I send a quick text to River, asking him to join me, and walk to the centre of the room.
There, under need an old hanging lamp, on a wooden chair, is our new V.I.P. guest; Easton Black.
"I see my man gave you a very warm welcome." I say as I eye his physical state.
There are cuts and bruises all over his body, just like the ones Anna has. The guys sure had some fun with him already. Not that I mind. He deserves everything we did and will do to him for what they did to my angel.

The door of the cellar opens and I hear two different footsteps walk in. I don't think to much of it, as I recognize one of them as River's, so I presume that River took one of our man with him and I keep my focus on Easton.

"My man told me that you are a quite person." I say, while taking my gun out of its holster. "But I know of some ways to get you to talk." I release the safety from my gun, ticking it against Easton's head.
"My favourite way is what we would like to call 'the six-pack'. I will ask you a question and you will answer it. If you don't, or if I don't like the answer. I will shoot. We will start with your knees, then your elbows, and lastly your shoulders, the six-pack. If after that, I still haven't heard what I want to hear, we will improvise until your body is full of holes. Is that clear?"
Without waiting for an answer, I point my gun at his left knee. "First question. Where is Samuel?"

 Where is Samuel?"
