Some stories amongst this town are about one single 'thing' causing havoc but there's something worse. Something inevitable; and that's death!

It reeks of sadness and despair, something those 'things' can't do; no matter how much they try.

Sure they bring fright to the people of this town, they may also bring sadness by taking away loved ones but it's not like death.

Death comes for everyone and not just one individual or even a group, it comes and eventually takes EVERY single soul.

It takes without regret and remorse and just takes the soul away.

That is scary.

Nothing else can compare.

Now, let's begin this scary story; shall we?

That's a rhetorical answer.

"Anyway, I was walking home from a football game that had just happened at school. Of course I was invited to the after party because who wouldn't invite the mayors child, well the oldest one.

Anyways, I was talking and laughing with my friend Jennifer as I made my way home.

However we never made it home, we ended up being dragged to Jennifer's boyfriends house party and I'm gonna be honest- it was lit!! Well, which ever boyfriend of Jennifer's it was; I wasn't sure. That girl has more boyfriends than I do relatives and that's saying something.

So, I basically partied the night away- did the usual; slept with some guy, got completely hammered, danced my life away, like I said the usual.

Anyway, I woke up the next day to this killer head ache and it took me about a good fifteen minutes to adjust myself to my surroundings.

I saw that I was in a bed with some random dude so I basically got up and got changed, leaving the dude alone.

I walked around the place and eventually found her lying on a pizza float in the pool. I'm honestly surprised she didn't fall in and drown but anyway.

I got her awake eventually and looked at my phone and then started to freak out. It was ten something in the morning and my father had another speech today.

And that's when I was like, "Jennifer get your act together cause we gotta go like right now".

We got our stuff together and walked out the door of the boyfriends house.

We walked to my house; well, we tried. We were swaying and just aimlessly walking in the road. We were talking and laughing at I'm not even sure what but it was funny.

Anyway, we were about ten minutes into our walk when it happened.

I had wondered my way over to where one of my other friends sat on the pavement and talked to her for a bit.

I turned around and saw Jennifer just giggling to herself whilst standing in the middle of the road; I'm gonna admit this now, we might have drunk a bit before we left the house- we didn't think it was such a big deal!
