Multiple rumours had begun to be spread amongst this very town.

Some say that this town is haunted, others say that this town is just full of mentally ill people.

Me, well I just don't know anymore.

My dearest sister had been taken from her window, my bestie had been kidnapped. Life is just a complete mess.

I sighed whilst looking out at the large woodland area which covered this town. And to think, our very own mayor died in those woods.

I started to jog again down the well carved out path before me, turning left as right wherever needed.

About 5 minutes in and I heard these grumbled nearby which made me his behind a large tree.

I peeked out from behind the tree and saw these cloaked men.

Wait, why is there even guys cloaked. Then again, they could be girls so I can't be sexist.

Anyway, I watched eagerly as they passed by; their grumbles now an audible whisper.

"Sacrifice?" One of the guys asked.

"Well, you see-" the second guy was immediately cut off.

"The devil waits for no one! Not even his most loyal of subjects.!"

"But sir-" the second guy was yet again cut off.

"No buts young one, you will obey our lord and saviour!" The first guy boomed.

The second guy walked ahead whilst the first guy mumbled incoherent words.

I slowly hid myself behind the tree once again. A deep breathe still didn't make me feel relaxed.

So, I started to jog again.

It started off slow but I slowly started to quicken my pace.

One foot in front of the other, running at rapid speed.

I had rounded one of the corners and suddenly bumped into something.

I looked up from the ground and came face to face with a cloaked face.

"Master, I have found it!" The voice said in joy.

I started to feel my heart speed up in panic, what did they find?

Another person came out from behind one of the trees.

"Excellent child, the master will be pleased with your service." The guy praised.

I looked between the two frantically before all lights went out.
