"It had been somewhat a quite noon for miss. Lily.

She had just got off work and now hid in her cosy home, fire crackling, hot cocoa at the ready. Indeed perfect for a winters eve.

She had been enjoying the company a book brought her when all of a sudden she heard something fall within her cost home.

She looked up from her book and instantly became alarmed. Was her home really being burgled at this hour? She questioned over and over.

However after the object smashed, there was nothing. No creaky footsteps, nothing.

She looked around her living room and became frightened.

She ran around the house and tried to find objects that she could combat herself with.

Upon entering her bedroom, she froze.

Her bedroom window had slid wide open, her curtains rhythmically flailing in the wind.

She held her breathe. Did someone really enter her home?

She slowly turned around and walked over to her phone, she called the first person that came to mind; her best friend Alfred.

She anxiously waited for Alfred to pick up.

What she didn't expect was for Alfred's phone to go off in her apartment.

She took her phone with her whilst she swiftly made her way through her quaint home, following the distinct sound of her friends ring tone.

She made her way over to her ensuite and looked at the door sceptically .

Her door had opened a slither, revealing the slightest slither of light coming through the crack of the door.

She fully swung the door open for only her to let out a sob.

There on the floor laid her very dead friend, Alfred!"

"Lies!" Monica said from besides me whilst shining the blinding light of her torch in my face.

"Can I please finish the story?!" Bonney demanded.

With a slight roll of her eyes, Monica nodded.

"Lily jumped in surprise when Alfred spoke those daunting words, don't look behind you!"

"Really?" Monica asked fed up now, "how cliche. 'Oh lily I know I somehow just awoke from death but I somehow have something to say, bloody don't look behind you!' How lame!" Monica visibly became aggravated.

"Calm down Monica, its only a story." I said with a frustrated sigh.

Monica let out a sigh, "whatever, now tell me why this place we are in was abandoned?" She asked.

I smirked, "Lily then became frightened. What ever did her mean? She screamed within her mind.

She held a hand to her head to try and ease the pain throbbing from her head.
