~Marco's Twin Sister~

Chapter Three

MARI'S POV
Mr. And Mrs. Diaz signed these papers that they needed to adopt me and once that was done I went to go pack my things. I made sure to say goodbye to everybody and double checked if I had everything , I knew I had everything because they were all in their designated place. Then I went back to the entrance. "Have you got everything?" Marco asked. Mr. And Mrs. Diaz were already in the car so Star and Marco waited for me. "Yeah , well I hope so anyway!" I said smiling. "Lets go then!" Star said dancing around in circles and running out to the car. "Okay!" I was so excited! I can't believe I'm with my family!

Once we got to the house and went inside Mrs. Diaz tried to find a room for me. "I'm sorry Mari but you might have to share rooms with someone.. it seems we have no rooms for you , I'm sorry." She apologised "it's alright! As long as it's okay with whoever I stay with." I said, I didn't really mind sharing rooms as long as they didn't. "No need!" Star shouted and everyone stared at her confused "Mrs. Diaz , isn't there that closet in the hall upstairs?~" she asked "oh um... well , yes but there isn't enough room for her to sleep in there.." Mrs Diaz stated. "Yes there is!" Star shouted running up the stairs. All we could hear was a big PUFF and when we went up the stairs there was a cloud of glitter that soon disappeared. I went over to Star and I was amazed at what I saw. The supposedly small closet was now a massive room painted light grey and it had beautiful furniture. It was amazing! "I-is this my room..?" I asked gaping in awe. "Well I guess it can be!" Mrs. Diaz said cheerily. "AWSOME!!!" I shouted fist bumping the air and running in.

Marco and Star were showing me around the house. We were out in the garden when suddenly a portal opened and a bunch of monsters came out. "Ludo!" Star said angrily. "What's happening?" I asked confused . Soon we were circled by them and I was starting to panic. "Mari just stay there and don't move , okay?" Marco told me getting into a fighting position. "O-okay..." I just stood there not knowing what to do. Suddenly Star started blasting them with her magic and Marco started fighting them. "Wow..." I stood in awe at them. Have they done this before? They didn't look frightened or anything. Just as I was looking at Star blasting a monster something came behind me and picked me up."H-hey!" I shouted "Let me down!" He just laughed and then this tiny little monster with a skeleton on its head came up "well done!" He said to the monster who had grabbed me. Star and Marco stood in front of him. Marco was in a fighting pose and Star had her wand out in front of her. "Now , give me the wand or say bye-bye to your little friend here!" Star was handing him the wand when she blasted him in the face and Marco kicked the Monster who was holding me and I fell out of his grip. The monsters walked the 'walk of shame ' back into the portal.

MARCO'S POV
Mari was sitting on the ground from the fall. Her hair was covering her face. Was she crying? She was looking at the floor and I thought she was crying. Maybe she hurt herself "hey are you o-" before I could finish my sentence she started laughing out of no where. "Ha! Did you see their face! Oh my god! You guys were AWSOME! There was no chance of them winning!!" I was glad she was okay and wasn't hurt. "Hehe , yeah!" I smiled at her and put my hand out for her to stand up. She grabbed it and I pulled her up. "Thanks Marco! And thank you Star as well!" She thanked us. "No problem!" star said spinning around in circles.

It was getting really dark so we went inside and the dinner was ready. We went to go eat our dinner.

MARIA'S POV
Time skip to after dinner
I still hadn't unpacked my stuff yet and it was getting late and we had school tomorrow. Star said that she would help me pack my things away so we went to my room and started unpacking. Star was putting away my clothes while I was putting away other things. When I was done I helped Star fold and hang my clothes.

"Wow.. your clothes are really pretty Mari!" Star said holding up a red t-shirt with a skull on it "well.. this one is a little creepy..." she shivered and I laughed. "You wanna see creepy? I'll show you creepy!" I said taking out a t-shirt with a picture of a dead corpse on it even though it clearly wasn't real , it was anime. "Uh...." she just sat there staring at it " I'm guessing you don't like it?" I asked folding it and putting it away. She just shook her head 'no' and then we both started laughing.

"Why is pretty much everything you have red?" Star asked taking out a long red dress with a black belt around the waist. "Why...? Well um... I guess it's because it's my favourite colour" I mentioned wondering why most of my stuff is red.
After a little while we finally finished packing away my stuff and Star went to her bed room. I got into my pyjamas , jumped on my bed and buried myself into my covers. I played on my phone for a bit and then fell asleep.

I dreamt of those monsters but I wasn't scared of them , they seemed kinda dumb. But then there was this other monster who appeared... he was wearing a name tag that said 'toffee' and he.. he... killed me..

I jumped up out of my bed screaming. Marco and Star came rushing in. "What's wrong! Are you okay!! Your not hurt are you!" Marco asked me panicking "I-I'm fine..." I whispered looking down. I thought if I stopped breathing I would stop forever. "Hey , are you alright?" Star asked quietly sitting on the edge of my bed and putting her hand on my hand. "Yeah... it was just a bad dream.." I whispered more to myself then to them. "What was it about?" Marco asked , suddenly wearing glasses and a brown jumper vest. I wasn't in the mood to laugh though... "well you see... I had a dream about those monsters. They weren't scary , they were funny actually! But then..." I trailed off not wanting to remember. "Go on , it's okay. It was just a dream." Marco reassured me. It felt so real though. "There was this monster. He was tall and had a name tag that said 'Toffee'." Both Star and Marco gasped. "Did anything happen then?" Marco asked eagerly. "Well some things were blurry.. but in the end he-he... killed me.." I explained looking at the bed. Suddenly Star hugged me. "It's okay! It's just a dream!" Star reassured me. "Thank you guys... I have only known you two for a day and you are both so nice... words can't express my gratitude."I said. "Hey! That's what sibling are for" Marco reminded smiling. "And that's what friends are for!" Star said letting go. They then left and I went back to sleep. This time I slept peacefully.
