This time, Logan made it farther than the living room and kitchen. Riley's room was tiny and covered in posters of the Silence of the Lambs. There was a giant one of Hannibal Lecter hanging on the door of his closet. Riley had a small TV on his desk and a dusty XBox.

They were playing Call of Duty when the front door opened and giggles reached their ears. Riley rolled his eyes.

"My sister's here with a friend again," riley muttered, annoyed.

"I think that's my sister," Logan said, acting surprised.

"Maybe I should go say something to Aileen," Logan said, getting up.

"Yeah, you don't want her to turn against you. Trust me." Logan left the room and joined the girls in the living room. They were sitting on the beat up couches by the TV.

"Logan!" Aileen jumped up, all surprised. Ava acted surprised even though she knew he was already here.

"What are you doing here, Logan?" asked Ava. She didn't know what had happened with him and Riley.

"Hangin' out with Riley," Logan said. He kissed Aileen and spotted the cassette tape boxes still sitting on the coffee table, and met Ava's eyes. He nodded a little.

She quickly bent down to grab one of them and shoved it at the bottom of her bag. Logan pulled away from Aileen and smiled down at her.

"You're friends with Riley?" asked Aileen, raising an eyebrow.

"Yep, he's a pretty nice guy, your brother," Logan said, nodding, making sure that Ava had hidden the tape well.

Ava cleared her throat loudly. "Logan..." Aileen turned around quickly, apologizing.

"Sorry about that. I'll see you later, Logan," she said, leading Ava into her room. Theys started the hallway.

"Wait!" Ava turned around and opened up her bag. "You forgot this book in Geometry this morning." She quickly pulled out a random book from her bag. On top of the book were several small plastic bag.

"Right, thanks," Logan said, slipping the bags into his pocket. Once he was alone in the living room and he quickly opened up one of the bags and pulled a tiny coin shaped listening device. He stuck it under the coffee table next to a leg. He stuck another one under one of the couches and hurried back into the hallway that led to the rooms.

The tiny devices would be nearly impossible to find unless someone flipped the furniture over, which would be highly unlikely. However, Logan didn't live close enough to intercept the transmission and he would need an amplifier, which he didn't have.

He hurried down the hall, looking for Kendall's office. He found his bedroom and quickly tapped another device behind a wardrobe near the door. He found the office where he stuck one last listening device under the desk.

He looked around the small office. There was a small desk with a monitor on it and under the desk was a dusty computer case. He quickly found the model name and took another good look. There was a big black analog phone. It seemed like it was used pretty often. Logan left the office, repeating the model name under his breath over and over so he could remember it.

He joined Riley back in his room and played videogames for the next few hours.

The front door flew open, making the two boys jump in surprise. "Riley! Aileen! Come help me!" Riley groaned before setting down his controller. Logan followed him out of the room.

Ava and Aileen left their own room. Logan glanced at Ava and gave a discreet thumbs up. She nodded as the teens entered the living room. Kendall Harris was dragging a few large bags into the living room. They were filled with camping gear.
