Perfect Imperfections

~Chapter 7~

-Two days later Lydia's POV-

Why does my head hurt so bad.........Oh yea I passed out, almost forgot about that. I wonder where Rose went she isn't in her usual chair. She probably went to get some food, she'll be back soon. I hope my mom didn't do anything to upset her. Enough people hate me already I don't need her hating me too. I need to get out of my head, I'll just rest my eyes until she gets back and hopefully this headache will go away.

-Time Skip 1 hour-

I wonder how long I was asleep? Well Rose is back now, too bad she is asleep now. I wanna know what happened with my mom and when I'm gonna be forced to go back to that hellhole. She looks so peaceful, I wonder what she ate for lunch?

-3rd Person POV-

Lydia slowly sat up on her bed but a sharp pain shot through her back which made her hiss in pain. Not long after a nurse came walking in.

"Hello Ms. Lane, my name is Rebecca and I will be your nurse for the rest of your stay in the hospital. Right now I am just here to check your vitals and to make sure that you are comfortable. Do you have any questions?"

After  taking a minute to think Lydia responded, "I was wondering if I could have some pain medication because there is a really sharp pain in my stomach."

"We already have you on some morphine but i will talk to the doctor. Can you show me where it hurts exactly?"

Lydia slowly raised her gown to reveal a very large bruise near the middle of her stomach that was turning a yellowish-purple color. Rebecca's eyes became huge and she insisted that Lydia lie back down and rest so the bruise could heal properly.

"Could you get me something to drink please, if it isn't too much trouble?"

"Of course, what would youlike to drink?"

Lydia did not want to take up too much of her time so she just said the first thing that came to mind which happened to be sprite.

"I'll be right back with your sprite just try not to move too much until i come back and i tell the doctor of your bruise."

"Yes ma'am and thank you."

Rebecca left the room after giving Lydia a quick smile. After a few minutes Rose finally woke up and was a bit too excited that Lydia was awake.

"Oh my gosh I thought you were gonna die or go into a coma or something. You can't just pass out after 10 minutes of being awake after you were already unconcsious." Rose spoke so fast that Lydia could barely understand what was coming out of her mouth but was pulled back to reality when she Rose put her in a bone crushing hug.

"AAHHHH!!!!!!!" came out of Lydia's mouth before she could bite her tongue and Rose automatically retreated back to her seat with a very guilty look on her face.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt youi was just so happy to see that you were okay."

"Don't worry about it Rose. I just have a really bad bruise on my stomach and it jurts really bad right now."

"Oh." Lydia could see guilt written all over her face and now she felt bad for making Rose feel guilty about her stupid bruise.

Next thing you knew Rebecca came bursting through the door frantically looking around to see if there was anything out of the ordinary. Her focus was now on Lydia and Rose, after seeing everything was alright she let out a sigh as if she was holding it in all morning.

"Sorry I thought, something was wrong because I heard someone yell."

"I just hugged Lydia too tight hurt her bruise but i didn't know it was there either."

"Well I am glad that you are both okay. Now the doctor is coming to speak with you two and he sounded serious so I don't know what he will say. I will be back later when I bring you dinner and a new sprite considering i just ruined this one."

Lydia had completely forgot about the drink she had asked for and looked at the now flat soda in Rebecca's hand.

Rebecca said her goodbyes to the two girls and exited the room once again.

Now Lydia and Rose have to wait for the doctor.

*Knock Knock*
