~A/N This chapter has 1124 words and I'm sorry again this took so long. I am in college, so I have a lot of other things I have to focus on. Again, I will put *** before a slight spiral into negative thoughts. Enjoy the chapter and as always comment any thoughts or ideas you may have! ~
Sunday morning Lydia didn't wake up until around 10 o'clock. She was woken up by the sun shining through her window. She felt the warm rays on her face as she woke from her dreamless sleep. It was more like she passed out for a prolonged period of time since she was so exhausted emotionally and mentally from the events that happened the previous day. After Lydia woke up, she went ahead and took a shower so she could feel a little more awake. When she got dressed, she put on a simple pair of black leggings and a blue sweatshirt. While she was getting ready to walk out of her room, she saw Steven's jacket lying on her desk chair and all she could do was smile and blush as an image of his smiling face ran through her head.
As Lydia was heading downstairs, she was met with Rose tackling her in the hallway, almost making both of them fall down.
"I thought you died man! How can you sleep that long," Rose asked while she help onto Lydia's neck.
"I didn't even sleep for that long, did I," Lydia asked as she then went into deep thought trying to see how long she really slept.
"Dude, you slept for over 12 hours. I have never even heard of you sleeping that long. Don't you have insomnia or something? Wait! If you do then wasn't last night a good thing? 'Cause now, you're rested and ready to go," Rose kept rambling and rambling all the way to the kitchen where Karen was currently making breakfast for the girls and herself.
"Rose can you please calm down. It is too early for you to be asking me all of these questions," Lydia said as she sat in front of the counter, "but yes I do have insomnia, so last night was amazing."
"Rose, leave Lydia be for a few minutes. You know she needs her coffee in the morning, unlike you," Karen said with a smile as she handed Lydia a large mug filled with the amazing bean juice.

"Thank you so much Karen," Lydia said with a small smile then she slowly started to drink her coffee as Rose and her mother became background noise. (A/N Italics with quotes are thoughts) "Why did I have a panic attack yesterday? It just doesn't make any sense. I don't even know what set it off. Maybe it was just eating in front of people or eating in front Steven. What if he thinks I'm disgusting when I eat? What if he thinks I'm fat enough........Should I just stop then? Yea that's it, I'll just-" Lydia's thoughts were cut off as Rose yelled into her ear.

"Earth to Lydia!! We are trying to figure out how many eggs you want," Rose said with a smile on her face. Karen also wore a smile standing by the stove but both of them had worry in their eyes and Lydia didn't know why.
"Oh, no. I'm not hungry this morning, sorry," Lydia said with the fakest smile she could muster in that moment because she knew she was hungry. She hadn't eaten all day yesterday and now she was refusing food again today, but she didn't want Steven to hate her because she was getting fatter than she already was.
"Honey, I need you to eat at least one egg for me okay? Or you can have a piece of toast instead," Karen told her with the most caring voice Lydia had ever heard.
"I'll eat a piece of toast then please," Lydia said while looking down at her almost empty coffee mug.
While Lydia ate her piece of toast very slowly, Rose and Karen made their own plates of breakfast and ate at the counter with Lydia to make sure she actually ate the toast. Once Lydia was done with the toast, she got another cup of coffee and sat back down at the counter.
"Lydia, look. We need to talk to you about yesterday," Rose said as she looked at Lydia and they locked eyes. Rose's serious tone worried Lydia.
"What do we need to talk about," Lydia said nervously.
"Steven told me you had a panic attack. He also told me you didn't eat anything while you were with him yesterday. And before your mind starts to think that he hates you or that he betrayed you, he only told me because he is worried for your well-being. He wanted me to know you didn't eat on the date so I could make sure you ate dinner but then you slept through it so we just let you sleep it off," Rose told Lydia while staying calm. Karen was watching Lydia while Rose was speaking and noticed that she began to get tense. Karen reached for Lydia's hand and gave it a light squeeze to show she is not alone. Lydia looked up with tears in her eyes.
"Lydia honey, you are not alone in this world anymore. We are here for you and so is Steven. I can tell he really cares for you. You do not have to worry about anything else and whenever you are having trouble you can come to any of us. Whether that trouble be with panic attacks, depression, insomnia, eating, or even how you are feeling about your relationship with Steven. We will never leave you or abandon you or hurt you. You are a second daughter to me. I love you," Karen said with a few tears rolling down her face. Her voice held so much love and determination Lydia couldn't help but let the tears flow down her cheeks as well.
"Now that you guys are crying, I'm crying," Rose said wiping the few tears she had, and they all began to giggle. The all had a much-needed hug after going through so many emotions so early in the morning.
"So now that that is out of the way, why don't we plan a course of action," Rose said and everyone agreed. They planned that Lydia would keep a journal into to show progress of how she was feeling, she would also get rewarded for eating a certain number of meals a day, and lastly everyone would be taking a class on how to deal with panic attacks, including Steven. Once the game plan was in place, Karen wanted to know all of the details about Lydia and Steven's date but before Lydia could even speak, Rose yelled out the fact that Steven let Lydia keep his jacket. When Rose yelled, Lydia turned beet red and Karen could only smile seeing the girl so happy and embarrassed. That was when Karen knew that Lydia would be okay, eventually.
