-Okay so this chapter is 1261 words so it's long too. Also, Isabelle is called Izzy and Abigail is called Abby. I didn't feel like typing there whole names out the whole time. Enjoy!-

The two girls rode with Karen, obviously, and Steven followed. They stopped a few houses down the street so Lydia's family couldn't see that she was with anyone, they would think that she was just walking home from the hospital. Lydia still didn't say anything the whole drive to their house. She just stared out the window thinking about what her mom was going to do when she got home, what her dad would do when she got home. He would definitely be upset because she made her mom so upset. The only thing that pulled her out of her thoughts was Rose laying her head on her shoulder as a way of saying that everything would be alright.

"Okay, so just walk in like its a normal day for you and we will be able to see and hear everything that's going on. When I have  enough evidence against your parents, or just your mother, then we will all come in and get you out of there." Steven finished explaining and gave a thumbs up for good measure.

"Let's do this then." Lydia said then got out the car but before the door shut Rose and Karen wished her luck. She gave a smile in return.

Lydia walked down the street to her house and took a deep breathe before opening the door slowly so it didn't make too much noise. Unfortunately her parents were sitting on the couch which is diagonal from the door so when she turned around from shutting it, there they stood.

"Where the hell have you been?! If you were released this morning then you should have been home hours ago! Punishment is now no food for 3 DAYS!!" Her mother screamed while grabbing her shirt and pulling her close to her face.

"I'm sorry they had me see one mor-" She was cut off by a loud slap to the face by her mother who then dropped her shirt. Lydia fell to the floor clutching her cheek which stung and was turning bright red.

"What do you have to say dear?"

"Stop being such a waste of space and just do what we made you for. To clean the fucking house and be when we need to hit something." As soon as he finished his sentenced he kicked her stomach which was already hurt from being beaten up by Ashlyn. Lydia screamed and Rose, Karen, and Steven came barreling through the door. Karen immediately came to Lydia's side to look at her cheek and stomach while Rose punched her mom and kicked her dad where the sun does not shine. Steven was in the process of calling the police and an ambulance for Lydia.

What you all didn't know was that Isabelle and Abigail were upstairs the whole time and didn't even bother to come down and help. Once they heard sirens they came rushing down the steps to see what was happening. All they saw was their parents in handcuffs and Lydia in a chair getting checked out.

"Why are our parents being taken away? They haven't done anything wrong!" Isabelle said to the police who were holding them back.

"If anything happened it's that bitch's fault over there! She messes everything up in this house! She always ruins our family!" Abigail added to what Isabelle had said but pointed at me with every word she said, tears were building up behind her eyes, Lydia could tell. She had done it enough to cover up what it looked like when she was about to cry. She didn't know why Abby was about to cry, probably because there parents were being taken away from them. There was a small chance that she might be crying because of what had happened to Lydia. She kept looking in her direction but stayed with Izzy no matter what.

"Well, the paramedics said you don't need to go to the hospital but you do need to stay on bed rest for the next week so your stomach can properly heal." Karen said while giving a comforting smile. Soon, Steven came back to tell the three ladies what would happen next since Lydia's parents were out of the picture.

"Now that they are gone, you and your sisters have to have a place to stay like a next of kin. They said that you all have grandparents nearby but that they wouldn't stay there if you were going to be there."

"I don't blame them. I just got our parents arrested. I don't know where I'll stay but they should go there, our grandparents love them two." Lydia said with a sad smile as she gazed down towards the end of her statement.

"You can stay with us for as long as you need. You know that. We love you" Rose and Karen said at the same time which confused Steven but made Rose smile sweetly and slightly hug both of them.

"I love you guys too" Lydia said as she started to cry into Rose's shoulder.

"I'm just glad it's finally over. Thank You." She then hugged Steven tightly and kissed him on the cheek which made him blush.

"You're welcome Lydia."

"Sorry if she is doing too much right now she is overwhelmed with emotions that she hasn't been able to show in years so just go with it. Feel lucky though man, I think you are the first guy she has kissed on the cheek. Or kissed at all for that matter." Rose whispered to Steven and nudged his arm while Lydia had walked into the living room.

She was now looking through the drawer of a cabinet that seemed long forgotten. Towards the bottom there was a box labeled 'Lydia's Memories' in red marker. It was full of pictures of Lydia, her mom, her dad, and her older sister. Before Abby was born they were a happy family of four, no child forgotten or used for any reason. There was one picture on top with all five of them but Lydia was kind of off to the side, that was the last picture that she was allowed to be in with the entire family.

"Are you okay Lydia? Why are you crying?" Karen asked while placing a hand on her shoulder.

Lydia hadn't realized she was crying so she put a hand to her face to be sure and there were tears running down her face.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. I was just looking back at some old memories that I haven't been able to look at in a while, that's all." Lydia wiped her tears and gave a small genuine small while closing the box that she had in her hands.

"Well, um, when can we move some of my stuff to your house like clothes? I can get it together now if you want me to." Lydia asked with wide eyes.

"Of course dear, you and Rose can head to your room and then we can take whatever you need to the house right now. I will go back the car into the driveway."

Lydia quickly grabbed Rose from where she was standing and she screamed wanting to know what was going on so Lydia told her they were getting her clothes together. Rose suggested Steven coming along and wiggled her eyebrows in his direction, sadly Lydia wasn't really paying attention and said she didn't care  so she told him to come along too.

Once they reached Lydia's door they saw it had been broken and pushed in.
